When Trump left office the U.S. was energy independent and exported oil and natural gas and the price of oil was $47/barrel. The price of oil is presently over $100/barrel. Russia's primary source of income is from the sale of oil and natural gas.

The Biden U.S. State Dept. was warning that Putin was going to invade Ukraine for several months before the invasion. Who are the brain dead officials who believed Putin in the first place?
