You forgot to mention that the family would walk out to the tarmac and say goodbye to their loved ones, who would then walk up the stairs to the airplane, hand the stewardess the equivalent of a bus pass, and then fly away when the props spun up. http://anony.ws/i/2016/01/22/vlcsnap9078011.png

Official CamCaps Playing Card Developers Thread
Foamy T. Squirrel replied to Foamy T. Squirrel's topic in The Old Dudes Board
Let me address a few points that have been brought up by various posters, so far. 1) The default shadow guy under the user's avatar is a known issue. Admin and the software programmer for the new CC GUI are working through it. 2) For poker, I think it would be best to form regional teams, so that members on a team all have similar time zone/sleep constraints and can all meet up in real time. Furthermore, they could take turns being the House Dealer who doesn't play but gets rewarded with a certain amount of CC bucks. Scores could be kept for money accumulated by the star members. Winners could be selected from the group and move on to the finals for a World Championship. 3) To avoid arguing about which girls get to be Queens, etc., we could play with different decks, customized for our particular fetishes. Once the base art is established for all the cards, photo images of the girls could easily be photoshopped into place on any of the cards. People could use these as templates to create a personalized deck. 4) Trading cards sound cool, Mr. 1010. Maybe print the stats of the back side. Something like: "Joined RLC in Dec. 2012. Enjoys wine, dancing, sewing theatrical costumes. Famous for her exquisite soup. Knockout when modeling; girl next door when at home. Later promoted to the role of Mother Nora at a convent for wayward girls." 5) A version of trivial pursuit could be created, based on factoids from the CC archives. The sky is the limit. It will just take the creativity and suggestions of our super-elite membership to come up with ideas. 6) Don't blame me for any of this. The original idea is the lawyer's fault. I'm just along for the ride. Could be fun. 7) I don't know if any of these contests could be installed and run as scripts and sub-routines; I certainly don't want to ask Admin to hang a bunch of stuff on his site's code. Running a site is a fricken pain-in-the-ass as it stands. I certainly don't want to do it again. But with a combination of PMs and thread utilization, I'm sure we could accomplish a great many things. -

Whelp, as long as we don't use them elsewhere or sell them, they're no different from any other pirated picture we have on CC as it is. -

Nice work, Chiller. This way we could all get a deck, or a bunch of decks, with all our favorite ladies on the common back. In fact, collect ALL the virtual decks, and print them out on your own color printer. I could have my Nora and Leora decks, and Mikey could have his Rita & Irma decks. Might be hard to explain to the wife and kids, however... For the card front, the girl's face could be photoshopped into the face of the queen, or whatever. For poker, the players would select a certain time (adjusted for time zones) for the hands to be played, probably starting with the Private Message system. The House Dealer would deal the cards (using a real deck and then matching that with our CC virtual deck, and send them to each player via PM. The House Dealer wouldn't play, but would know what had been dealt to whom, so there would no need for a time stamp. Then, the house dealer could record the wagers on a spreadsheet, keep a running tally for regular players, and post that final image in a dedicated thread so everybody would know where they stood. Other card games could work in a similar way. -

Well, mr1010, we could do all sorts of things with this concept. Standard playing cards, Trading cards, Pokemon or Magic cards, or even an Old Maid's deck for the kids. The trading cards could be released over a long period of time, perhaps once a week on a day when traffic here is slower -- "New Trading Card posted! Collect them all!" The game idea you posted in the Ilona & Layla apartment discussion thread would work; it would only requires assigning a House Dealer. The decks could be dealt with a time/date stamp every game (just so nobody cheats too much by pulling out cards from a previous game), and then officiated by the dealer who would record the wagers. If it took off, we could maybe get Admin's help in setting up a cheap server that could handle the games as an app and sell advertising. After that, we could do a Fantasy RLC web-site where you guess what the different tenants will do (don't worry about picking a tenant who gets an injury -- Efim and Bogdan and Adriana are doing fine sex wise, despite their injured arms.) This could be interesting and it would be a more creative use of our time. It's also ideas and projects like this that launch new web sites. -

Let's see: I've got three queens, Leora, Maya and Nora, and two Jacks, Nina & Kira... That'd be a full house! :woohoo: -

We've got lots of RLC women to work with, so I've suggested we include the "retired" girls and turn the Jacks into Princesses (or leave them as is, and dress our lesbian ladies in drag). Even the number cards can feature a picture of a girl. We'll probably argue endlessly about who gets to be one of the Queens, but I'd vote for the ones who lasted the longest on the site and had garnered the most traffic over the years. We'll still argue about it. As for the Kings, if we have to, we can use the more famous of the pets that have scampered through RLC over the years. For the aces, we need four of them and we conveniently have four mods on the board, all with handsome avatars. The problem is that at least a couple of them would make excellent jokers! :lmao: It would be nifty if we could engineer a poker game we could play with them in a dedicated thread. That might take some engineering and creativity. And maybe a couple of our software engineer friends. Euromike is already in; if we drag in Hope we'll be set up on the photo insertion and pixel mutations we'll need. This idea is still in its infancy, having been born in the Ilona and Layla Apartment Discussion thread, where it was off topic. So it's here now. -
Some of us have decided to create a deck of playing cards and trading cards featuring our RLC lovelies. That way, we can print the deck out at home, and play solitaire when nobody is fricking home at the apartments. This is the thread where we can discuss our ideas and pool our talent. Join us. Únete a nosotros.

Great special effects on that movie, too. The biplane pilot has my respect, too.

Archie was definitely a rags-to-riches story. For you youngsters: http://www.biography.com/people/cary-grant-9318103

What is wrong with this guy?
Foamy T. Squirrel replied to JohnWatson's topic in Leora & Paul (06/28/13 - 06/19/19)
I avoid denigrating the men on RLC. They know things we don't. Paul and Leora have been together a very long time. My DNA has a Y chromosome, so of course Leora is sexually interesting. But I'm also a very old squirrel, and quite satisfied with my own sex life. But she is young and pretty, and it simply makes me happy to see her painting, doing her art, smiling, and being happy, clothed or not. I don't judge their relationship; only they can understand it; it is beyond my comprehension. -
Don't change the name. Took me two years to memorize the damn thing. But lost the lawn mower; it's chopping up the pecans I've hidden in your lawn. Go back to the Joker blowing up shit. That avatar always looked good on you. (Should we ban each other for going off topic? I mean, maybe it's OK because we all know RLC is filmed entirely at Area 51...)

I'd smack them upside the head with a hot french fry, but they are elite members who post pictures here, and I don't want any of our elite troopers to leave. So I always give them special dispensation. Besides, they're all artists, and therefore are allowed to be eccentric. Post away elite troopers! We love your work! Moar!!!! I'll reserve the hot french fry for spammers.

I don't know what he meant, either, but Woody waxes prosaic often. Anyway, let's relax, make some popcorn, and continue... Here's some take outs from the first ultimate special effects film; the one movie that pioneered the entire genre of sci-fi movies.

How to win an argument about God when confronted with an atheist: 1) God, in all religions, is the Creator. Not just of us, but also the Universe that surrounds us. 2) Therefore, if no God of any sort exists, then you and I don't exist either. 3) So why are we having this argument if you are correct in your religious belief that no God exists? (Subscript: I'm an agnostic. I do not presume to define God in any set terms. God defines itself. But I will never allow a government or a group of people define my relationship with God.)

C'est la vie! As our French members would say. Agreed; 'tis sad indeed these tortures of life... I'm still waiting to hear "I liebe dich, Herr Foamy!" from the Goddess, but I suppose I shall die with my love unrequited. :'( :'( :'( But, as they say, C'est la vie!

did they live in another apt before?
Foamy T. Squirrel replied to leomessy's topic in Leora & Paul (06/28/13 - 06/19/19)
You are correct; Leora and Paul started out in Lina & Mark's apartment when they left RLC. It was small, but cozy, and it was nearby to both Lora & Max ,and Maya & Stepan, and Alina & Anton's apartments. A&A then got moved to a newer, spiffy apartment. Then L&P got an updated apartment. Maya & Stepan have been at RLC the longest now; they still live in the original apartment along with their many pets. Browse the archives; you'll learn lots. And, with a highly expensive CC paid membership at $1.00 USD a month, you'll see more. Either way, some of use veterans are always willing to share information. PS: The old cameras didn't have the higher resolution, but they weren't wide-angle: to me, they seemed more intimate, and the couples back then we're a bit more real. Just my perception as an old fart. @ piedpiper: I'll bet a quarter USD that SanPer concocted that picture post... 8) -

A language problem will always exist; we have this problem with CamCaps and written conversations, and we must deal with this situation the best we can. Sometimes computer translators work well enough. As for audio captured and posted by CC members, we must rely on our Russian, Ukranian, and Spanish speakers to help us. I have often asked for their help. The good part about the audio feed from RLC is three fold: 1) People screaming at one another is Universal. 2) Moaning and heavy breathing are Universal 3) Music is Universal. In order to understand the tenants, the benefit of the audio stream is that it works the same as watching gestures, facial expressions, and attitudes of the tenants. I doubt RLC will have ever have native English speakers for tenants, probably because of cultural, nationalistic, and legalistic reasons. Plus, it's always fun for me to hear Home Simpson speaking Spanish! :lmao:

There was a Laura, but she misspelled her name, too, and turned it into Lora. I actually kinda liked the gal, even though she wasn't my kind of body type. But she was real, she was efficient, and she had a cool cat. Then there were the days when all RLC females names ended in "a," like Elena, Alina, Lina, Gia, Anna, and Danna. Posters screwed that up all the time.

I read this page. I then translated the page to French using the Google page translate button. Then I translated it back into English. This is what I got: (Double click or open in a new tab to read a clear copy of the graphic.) I suppose it's a unifont compatibility problem. If a character is misinterpreted as an EOL, it might simply stop processing the entire post. Obviously, the Copyright symbol is not correctly handled. I'm on a Win7 Ultimate 64 bit with Firefox. I normally do not have the jumbled character problems or missing text, and I'm using 4 different operating systems with Chrome, Firefox, and Chromium. I usually translate in a separate translate.google.com window.

The tattoo and hardware argument is as old as CamCaps. Most of us Old Dudes don't much like this fad for women, but we put up with it because none of the girls are sagging yet. And we know better than to get too rude toward those who think tats and hardware are super cool. So let's keep the argument civilized. Cuz Foamy would rather watch Chloe than respond to mod reports.
