Martina has left B4 an hour ago to pick up her brother at the station. The farewell has been a bit sad. Megan is adorable, they have developed a very nice relationship, but contrary to some opinions, with no sex involved 🤥

Bruno's strategy is quite obvious, he is making his moves to fight with Gina on every little thing and get Gina back to the villa, keeping the apartment for himself and his bunch of homeless. Gina is very naive, he has a good chance of succeeding.

My understanding from different chunks of conversations is that Masha will be leaving tomorrow and Megan (and possibly Holly as well) will be leaving soon after. Tomorrow evening they will have a goodby dinner, Martina for sure and probably some others will attend. Megan broke up with her Italian boyfriend, apparently after the famous party a month ago. She won't fly to Italy, she will fly back to Ukraine.

She changed months ago to a higher level group, but she didn't like the teacher and it was expensive to be online classes.

The arrival of Martina's brother has been postponed until Thursday, probably because of these goodbye meetings. They (Martina and her brother) will also go together to a theme park on Tuesday and Wednesday next week.

I think they will meet on Monday (or Tuesday) at the girls' farewell party. According to the conversations they had last week their relationship has cooled down, but we will see how things evolve when they meet

She has a mild long term sleep disorder, she talks about it very fequently. The National Health System in Spain covers most health problems. Anyhow she is paying for an additional private health insurance, but Alberto isn't. Birth control pills are partially financed by the public system, not free. On the other hand, vets are quite expensive. Alberto's dog surgery cost as much as 1800 euros, which Martina had to pay because Alberto had no money at all at the time.

Martina's friend has a really serious problem, related to the +10 calls she received while they were playing the board game. It is a personal issue that I do not think is appropriate to discuss in this forum. The discussion about her problem led to some 'out of tune' recriminations from Alberto to Martina, and from there they began to criticize each other with the same arguments that have been cause of discussion in the past weeks. Alcohol did not help much in this talk. But nobody laughed at nobody, this was the most serious discussion I have seen to this couple. Fortunately they quickly reconciled.

Change of plans, Nelly and Bogdan are going to be out of town for the weekend, I think not to be there with Masha's friends. Martina still thinking if she goes tomorrow to the villa or not There will be a going away party in the villa on Monday, but I'm not sure who's leaving.

She is 18. I haven't heard her calling mother to Martina, she treats Martina more like her older sister. The girl has no family, her mother passed away last year and Martina is doing a great job, supporting and advising her.

Short-term plans: now dinner out with Alberto and her young classmate, tomorrow morning relaxing massage together with Alberto, then walk to the beach with the dogs (if weather allows), and party with her classmates in the night visit to the villa on Saturday next Tuesday her brother comes with a friend for a couple of days. For sure all the other gaps in the agenda will be filled shortly 😀

I hope I can shed some light on some of the open questions in the thread - What is the exam for? To get access to post-secondary professional studies. It is not the standard access to a university or college degree, I think it is closer to a US junior college. - Why does she need to pass this exam? Because she didn't continue studying after the mandatory education cycle (covering ages up to 16). If she had continued for two more years, till 18, the access would be granted without exam. She mentioned recently that she was a difficult teenager, not too good at studies but never inactive, she started working very soon. - What does she want to study? As already mentioned here, tourism and hospitatlity but more oriented to be a tourist guide or tourist promoter. 2-year studies, 2000 hours, starting next September. - Why a math test for a person who plans to syudy tourism? This exam has two parts. The common part was held yesterday, and included languages and maths for everyone, regardless the specific studies that they apply for. The specific part is today, the subjects (economy and economic geography) are more suitable to her planned studies. She was specially worried today because she needs to pass both the common and the specific parts to get the "title", and exams are only once per year. If she fails, her friend Marta wants to get to Barcelona to prepare the exam with Martina for next year. She tries to convince Alberto to prepare it with them, but I don't see him interested at all. - Why did she decide to apply for the exam this year? Not 100% clear to me. She was working at a famous place for tourists in Barcelona until it was closed last year due to the pandemic. Meanwhile, Alberto tried to run a franchised business without a minimum analysis (opportunity, risks, competition, market prices, ...) and it failed, spending all Alberto's money and a huge amount from Martina. Additionally, she is near 25 and it is probably "time to think over and change". I suppose there was a mix of thinks that made her decide to enroll in the preparation courses In my opinion Nelly has not influenced her at all in that respect, in fact she hasn't a real job or profession (but Bogdan has an electrical engineering degree if I am correct). As many others here have said, I wish her all the best in her upcoming studies and future career.

In my opinion Martina is an exceptional person, much more than we can see by simply watching her in the apartment. As an example (there are many others), last night around 1AM she went out to walk the dogs. On the street near her house she saw some suspicious boys, who were repeteadly hitting a cash register on the ground, until she could hear the sound of coins falling. She called the police from her mobile and told them exactly what she saw. When she was back home she was called by the police 2 times. On the second call the person on the phone asked her to go down to the street, they wanted to talk about what she saw. On the street she was invited to go into an unmarked police car, and went to see some boys who were being held nearby, asking her if she could identify them. Martina gave them a lot of details about their age, complexion, clothes, the type of scooter they used, etc. In her opinion, these guys were not the actors, she suggested the police to discard them. I think her behaviour last night was an example of outstanding citizenship and personal integrity. Firstly, because she didn't avoid her duties as a citizen, and secondly for collaborating in a so intelligent and reflective manner with the police. Bravo for her.

She has a scar on the upper part of her left leg, but it doesn't appear to be from surgery, it is quite irregular

Gina is 27, almost 28, and Bruno is 24. They yell it out often when they fight 🙄. I think Babi, 23, is still the youngest.

The age of the participants is a recurring topic in this forum, very often there are discussions about it when it had already been discussed and clarified in previous posts. If someone is able to open a thread to trace the ages of current and past tenants, I could put my two cents. I think we would have surprises, some of the participants are not the age they appear to be

She has just summarized to her friend on the phone: cannot sleep well, intense headache, stressed with the exams being so close, in her period, worried about Alberto having no plans for the future, and missing Nelly.

A neighbor has come to complain about the volume of the music, and has warned that she was going to call the police. Bruno has ended up insulting her. They have a great future prospect ahead.

She is about to start her period, and takes a birth control pill every night. Highly unlikely probability, but who knows...

I heard that the place has been rented as a tourist apartment (via airbnb or equivalent) in the past 10 years. That explains the weird floor layout, nobody was permanently living there before RLC made a mid-term (🤥) rental.
