To accurately answer your question, first of all the balcony that Leora bated on is on the kitchen, and guest room side of the apartment. With only the one opaque panel missing. The living room section of the narrow balcony has no railing, or privacy panels. As can be seen via camera 4. Leora's bedroom section of the narrow balcony has railing, and opaque panels as can be seen via camera 10 when the curtains are pulled ! Both being on the other side of the apartment !

But, your question was regarding screens. Not A/C's, or did I read the question you asked incorrectly !!

But, do they meet Prague's code for multiple unit high rise apartments ???😉 Considering the noise, and heat factors, that would be concentrated on the balconies !

Trying not to sound like a smart alec. My suggestion, would be to look into Prague's City Codes for the answer to that question.

The fact that the average high temperature in July, and August only, is 78F. in Prague. Just might have something to do with the lack of A/C being part of deemed equipment necessary, in the design architecture's requirements. My source of info Bing. Get your calculator out, and guesstimate how close to a million dollars that cheap A/C would cost. Based on the cubic footage of the complex, and each apartment being a zone, with each having its own controls. Then throw in the average year round temperature to calculate the necessity of it ! Actually a million dollars may no be quite enough ! ps: there was no A/C in the Krasnoyarsk apartments either.!!! 😁

Having worked a rotating swing shift that was 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Sunday thru Fri. 4 days off, back in Wed. at 4:00pm to 12 midnight thru Tues. at 12 midnight then exactly 48 hours later, started the seven 12 midnight to 8am days. Starting all over again Sun. at 8 am. I have long since developed a horizontal switch, that kicks in as soon as I lay down. I did that for 19 years. Yes , like Leora, I can sleep with the sun in my face, the noises eventually became a lesser problem, as my hearing ability declined. However I still have 100% hearing. But it is 60% in the right ear, and 40% in the left ear. 😁 What the 9 to 5 working establishment forgets, is that they are in the minority group, and that the world does not stop turning, because they are not working. Leora is a very good example of what a person can do. To adjust to " their normal life ". Which is not dictated by authoritarian rules !😉

Some people have never worked a rotating shift. Where one works all three time periods every month. Have they ! Which is basically what Leora is on, with her very good attempt to satisfy her global audience ! The difference is that hers is 24/7/365. All one has to do is to work her shifts.
