    Not arguing that at all...I live in the EST time zone and it's currently 6:51 pm which is GMT-5 HRS. Columbia is an hour behind us or GMT -6 HRS

    Look...someone said they were GMT -5...they are not. They are GMT- 6 if they are in Bogota or Cartagena or where ever they are in Columbia. The EST zone is GMT-5.
