There's a blocking feature but the only issue with it is if one uses a VPN then blocking someone is useless since they have the capability of keep coming back under different alias's and IP addresses. VPN's can be blocked as well but it's a long drawn out process trying to find the DNS #'s of each VPN provider. There are many providers in the VPN market, it would be an utter nightmare trying to find them all.
With the new forum software version 5 coming there are significant changes as to how one signs into the forum, it may help in getting the perpetrators of nefarious antics off the forum boards better than the current way it's done. Instead of signing in with a Username & Password, one will sign in using their e-Mail address instead. They'll still have the same Username on the forum just the sign in process will be different. Most websites have gone that way now, it makes it more secure. Signing in with an e-Mail then no one can try to hack any account because they'll no longer signing in with a username previously used and no one else see's the sign in credentials except for the user that's using it.
