  1. You are so right about change...as a Budhist myself, your words ring true. Thanks for your post.
  2. Wow...that was a quick departure for Eva and Mat. Does anybody know where they're headed? Back to Bali?
  3. We probably will never know as some of the trusted translators are reluctant to give us translations of the M/A conversations. Not sure why that is but there are clearly people on this board who know EXACTLY what's being said in conversations but want to keep the convesations private...and to themselves. Is that what paying subscribers signed up for? I, for one, did not sign up for censored conversations, but will admit that the "drug" of watching conversations in a language I can't understand is seductive...and that is the "drug" RLC thrives upon...in a way, we've become RLC junkies in fantasies and that's too bad...RLC blew all the amateur voyeur sites away during the Russian years, and granted, things change..most of us accept that. Back then, we all knew that the sexual language of love was "universal" but things changed after the Russian government shutdown..it became more about "shows" than real sexual content in the new RLC business model. The Martina/Nelly lesbian trysts changed that ..viewership skyrocketed for a while ...but when that ended, RLC has really never recovered. Amateur lesbian sex is the cornerstone of porn, but RLC has not been able to duplicate the Martina/Nelly trysts...and maybe, it's not their fault...these things do not happen easily...I think that the whole Martina/Nelly thing took RLC by surprise. But after that relasionship ended, and I do have my doubts its actually being over, RLC couldn't find a true, natural lesbian relationship with attractive lesbians that were'nt just putting on shows...other than Red and the other woman whose name I can't remember...but still not sure there was real love there...but it was nice to watch. After many years, I am not renewing my sub and that does sadden me. Thing are just not as "natural" as they once were and way too much fake drama and scripted behavior.
  4. So since the very beginning of RLC in Russia, it was always an illegal website? I don't know about that. It seems to me that it would have been really risky for the Russian tenants to take part knowingly in an illegal enterprise. I do understand the crackdown that occured later when all the apartments were shut down suddenly due to new laws outlawing sexual webcams, but in the very beginning I still think they were legal in Russia. Again, from a business point of view, if the site was targeting Americans why would RLC not want Americans and Europeans to understand some of the conversations? Now, I will admit that maybe none of the early Russian tenants could understand or speak English...we'll never know I guess.
  5. Well, I agree with you about RLC wanting to keep subscibers guessing as to what is actually going on...as everyone knows that's been their game from the start. But the name of the website is Real Life Cam but it can't be "real" if subscibers can't understand the conversations. Sure, sex has a universal language but conversations don't. Of course, if you speak Russian, Ukranian, or Spanish you know EXACTLY whats going on every single day. On your point about Germans and Polish speaking people my sense from my times in both of those countries is that a lot of Germans and Poles understand and can speak English quite well. Since RLC's Russian beginnings, the site was built for Russians...which is fine...that's their business decision. But times have changed and RLC has not. They don't want subscriberes to know what's really going on in their tenants' lives. In a sense they've created somewhat of an addiction for their subscibers. I have been a sub since the very beginning but have recently decided to not renew. The site has greatly deteriorated in the quality of tenants and for me, the language barrier deliberately thrown upon English speaking subsribers is now just intolerable and way too frustrating.
  6. Good points...makes sense. I would also add that RLC has to add more English speaking tenants so at least part of the time we can understand the conversations. There are quite a few current tenants that can understand and speak English quite fluently but rarely ever do. My guess is that the majority of RLC subscribers are English speaking...I have never understood why RLC has simply ignored that fact for many years.
  7. I think Eva is trying to continue to learn English and I suppose this is one way to do it. When she first got to this apartment she was taking English lessons with someone online but that apparently has stopped. Mat can speak very fluent English and I think that both Sasha and Dasha can also although not as fluently as Mat. It sure would be nice to see all of them carry on a conversation in English so we knew what the hell they're talking about. You would think RLC might suggest they speak English every once in a while to please a lot of their paying customers. Some have suggested that RLC does not want tenants to speak English if at all possible...the question always has been WHY?
  8. Well, lets hope its a start. You're right, GF4 is quite attactive. Hopefully she'll be given a name. If Martina stays in the apartment after Alberto moves on, things could get interesting. And if the apartment does get interesting, RLC vieweship will skyrocket again and Martina will once again get top billing. Now comes the suspense...will the soap opera ressurrect?
  9. Good points and I do think Sam might have moved her into some sexual behavior she was not comfortable with at first. I honestly feel that in the end she discovered her bisexual tendencies. There were several occassions where she clearly enjoyed the ffm threesomes with Sam but enjoyed several with her lesbian tryts without Sam. I think right now the question is... is she still bisexual even though she's married to Mat? People change in their sexual preferences over time...but sometimes they don't.
  10. She looks as young as she did in the good old Russian apartment days... still a really, really pretty woman. And I still love her hair after all these years!
  11. Of course, that begs the question why did they leave Bali and rejoin RLC at Sasha and Dasha's place? Seems a whole more than a vacation...is there a visa issue involved due to the fact they're Russians?
  12. Hi Alladino, I agree with your idea of moving Eva and Mat into Angie's apartment as a couple. As long as they're in Sasha and Dasha's apartment, Eva and Mat are stiffled in terms of behavior and having their own guests come over to Sasha and Dasha's place would be uncomfortable for them. Sasha and Dasha have obviously changed their sexual activity since leaving Rome and that's ok of course. Eva and Mat had a pretty exciting sexual track record when they were in Barca...clearly they enjoyed sexual freedom and interaction with other women especially. Now I suppose Eva could have changed her bisexual tendencies, like Dasha once had, but I'd be surprised about that. If Eva and Mat have kept their open relationship since leaving Barca I don't think it hard to imagine them finding new friends with maybe similiar sexual tastes...I don't know, maybe that's no more than wishful thinking on my part. I used to love Eva's lesbian trysts in Russia. And I was always disappointed that she never met Martina while in Barca...that could been interesting to witness...but alas, sheer fantasy I suppose. Anyway, I think Eva and Mat seem a bit out of place right now and would like to see them given a chance to "spread their wings" so to speak. Anyway, thanks for the idea Alladino.
  13. What? Definitely missing some English translation here...hard to understand.
  14. Hi JYBRD, Well, I think the reason Martina never really socialized with Alberto's alleged friends is that he probably didn't have many. I have watched Martina and Alberto since their very beginning on RLC with a subscription and can only remember a handful of times over 10 years when a friend of Alberto's ever showed up at the apartment...excluding "fat boy". Secondly, if Alberto did understand and could speak English as you noticed, that's even more damning of a reason for him not to take part in RLC parties and activities. To my mind, that elimintes the "language barrier" excuse as there have been many, many Russians and Ukrainians who could understand and speak English...some quite fluently. If what you say is true, Alberto could have easily held a conversation with many of them...but he chose not to even attemp that.
  15. Hi bobknob, You make a great point about Alberto's anti-social behavior. It is a subject often overlooked in the discussion of the eventual decline of the Martina/Alberto relationship. There were many, many RLC parties that Alberto refused to go to over the years. Some would say it was his percieved language barrier but in fact, to me, that's an unacceptible explanation. At these RLC parties there were almost always some Spanish-speaking and English-speaking Russian and Ukrainian participants. These Russians/Ukrainians were people who knew that to fit in with the Barcelona community they should learn some conversational Spanish and English. Martina took the initiatve herself to learn both English and some Russian...the Russian probably due to her relationship with Nelly. Alberto easily could have spent a few months learning some English and basic Russian, especially as he was not working at the time. I can see how over time, Martina could have been agitated and highly disappointed over his refusal to socialize with the RLC Barcelona community. I feel that if you're in a relationship you should want to share in the social interaction with your partner and her friends, but not so with Alberto...and it may have cost him dearly in the end. It is only supposition on my part, but maybe Alberto suffers from an inferiority complex resulting in anti-social behavior...or just sheer laziness on his part. Either way, it was quite selfish and could be a contributing factor in the dissolution of the relationship after all these years. Martina is a very social person and requires a lot of personal interaction with friends and a lot of love and attention...Alberto never fully understood that and eventually let her slip away. Thanks for your insight on this.
  16. My memory of Angie betrays me but did she know Eva in St. Petersburg?
  17. I think you're correct. Can you give us a translation of the conversations that help us out?
  18. Good point. Not being able see the balcony cam probably kept us from seeing a fond farewell on Sunday or instead tense goodbyes.
  19. So, I want to broach a subject concerning the past weekend with Marta and her boyfriend. It seemed that something was going on during Saturday that led to some very clear friction between all four of them. The boyfriend not only was arguing with Marta about something but he deliberately only whispered to Marta although he was clearly agitated about something. Later, at the dining table he took on Martina and was definitely animated to the point of argument with her. But it seemed Martina stood her ground. The translation graciously given to us by emnv was profoundly eye-opening and I salute him. By the end of the day on Sunday it seemed almost like a ruined weekend visit...the tension could be clearly felt. So, does anyone else have any input or translations of the serious conversations Saturday and Sunday. I hope whatever was going on does not cause a rift between Martina and her longtime friend Marta.
  20. Does anyone have an idea why Alberto seems to be acting a little antisocial tonight?
