I don't think so, she also brought her purse that is in the hall. She will see some friends but she still had a rather unusual look.

Watching the preparations for the Moscow Victory against the Nazis parade taking place on Monday I was amazed at how many people of Leora’s generation seem to be in denial that other countries apart from Russia contributed equally to the Nazi downfall.

Yes! Russia made an heroic stand to defend the motherland and lost millions of people doing so, but they forget that The Russian Front wasn’t the only theatre of war taking place against Germany and her allies  between 1939-1945.

The May 9th celebrations were never a huge celebration for many years, but during the time of Boris Yeltsin it was resurrected and when Putin came to power he embraced it and made it into the almighty show of power  festival it has now become.

I suppose like most countries, the people only choose to accept the bullshit that their politicians spout out because it suits their nationalistic fervour at any given time….such as now with the Ukrainian situation.

Leora hates Putin with a passion and would probably argue in support of that other kindly and well loved doyen of Russian politics Joseph Stalin…🙄

I saw an old post in the Forum that revealed Leora admires Stalin because she said he gave the people everything.  I have a screen shot. It floored me. George Patton (who said, "we killed the wrong pig") wanted to arm the defeated Germans go straight to Moscow when we could still take out the Red Threat but Ike and Truman wouldn't let him. Patton could have gotten Berlin before Stalin but was stopped.  Look what happened due to the leaders stopping him to appease Bloody Joe.

Leora's father is Stalin's admirer, not Leora.

It's funny, one who loves Stalin but at the same time admires Naval'nyj, like water and coffee. And Putin blames Lenin more than Stalin. Indeed, for Putin Stalin was a statesman. The Russians are very confused when it comes to ideology and politics.

He was the fucking Anti Christ, but he did kick the free hospitals and care reforms into existence and made sure industry was more productive.

As for a diplomat he was sadly lacking, and if you had a different opinion to himself you were eliminated supposedly.
