Amazon is known for fucking people over. A lot of people have to go through to get a refund for something they never received. What had likely happened with this guy was he likely purchased the item from a 3rd Party Seller on Amazon and got screwed over. No matter what happened Amazon is responsible for the product regardless of whether it was sold & shipped through them or a 3rd party seller. Amazon collected the money on behalf of the 3rd Party Seller. At least he finally got his refund after having to go through the Media to get it.
