Let me add to this economic reason, as RLC gives fake names to all participants to hide their own identity to keep them safe online.  Also, RLC chooses the girls from Russia and Ukraine to be participants because they speak either Russian or Ukrainian only and most of the people watch RLC (including me) don't understand Russian or Ukrainian.

The only people can understand these two languages are mostly live in Russia and Ukraine and they can't access RLC's website and similar sites from inside these two countries due to their internet laws.

My conclusion is that RLC intentionally hires girls from either Russia or Ukraine only so the majority of the viewers will never understand anything the girls talk about especially what is going on in their lives from their many hours of chatting and gossiping as another layer of protecting their identities.

I'm inclined to agree with your argument. It makes sense! It is in line with something that I have been thinking for the past eight years but never verbalized. Whenever RLC participants speak in other languages (like English) it is because they want subscribers to understand it and adopt whatever they hear from the participants as gospel.

Years ago when RLC was just getting off the ground, the women in B1 pulled a prank on RLC English speaking subscribers. After return from a club together, one of the women was missing. The women who spoke in English, were talking around the kitchen table. One of them got right in front of the camera and said in English that their college had been brutally attacked on the way home and that they ran to save themselves. The story spread like wildfire throughout the RLC forums. Hours later, the missing B1 participants showed up unscathed and seemed to be oblivious about the lie that had been spread about her. The chat went silent after that as many who had participated in believing and spreading the rumor were embarrassed.

Can someone who regularly subscribes and cancels enlighten me on this? Can you continue to watch all cams when you cancel until your paid sub runs out? Or are you restricted to free cams from the moment you cancel? 

When I canceled my subscription mid-way, it continued until my paid time was up.

There was a rumor (and some documentation) during RLC's early days that there was an affiliation with a University in Barcelona. Some of the early B1 participants were students and Kamila was said to be a graduate. From a Human Resources perspective, it would be good business practice if RLC provided scholarship benefits for its workers.

I should have expanded on my comment, that the students use RLC as a form or income to help with their university expenses.  Like being a waitress or any other working student.

We need to fundamentally rethink what is commonly understood as "sex work". The usual presumption ranged from street walker to escort. Most would not include union workers who provide "room service" at select hotels where selected patrons can order anything they want through the concierge (at any time of the day or night). Most people would never equate sex works with what some therapist provide, who have graduate level degrees, and who provide "treatment" to their patients that is reimbursable by major insurance companies.  There is an entire industry in the US and I suspect in many countries, who support the millions of sex workers that range from the judicial system to the health care system.

If there are any RLC participants from the Villa who read this forum, please let you colleague Raniya know that many of us who watch her a lot would like to continue to do so. However, the assumption of this subscriber is that we pay to watch the personal live of the participants and It assumes, also, that the participants HAVE as life! Please let Raniya know that she needs to make a serious decision about sharing with the subscribers. If she has no life to share, then she should move on.
