In the area where I live, the acceptance of the offer is viewed by many as an implied consent for sexual engagement. I have made such invitations myself, with mixed results. I once booked a weekend at a luxury hotel. I went all out because she was a Superstar!!! She did not show and I was devastated, mostly because of how much money I spent.
