I think this is new territory for Caroline, so she is trying to let Frisky lead the way.  I also think Caroline is fine with it being a threesome, she motioned for Frisky to touch Gabby, but Frisky kind of giggled and shook her head.  Gabby is feigning being asleep, she's aware of what's going on.  She'll eventually insert herself into it when Frisky gets past a point of no return.
