While it's true that RLC's business model focuses on subscriptions, that doesn't mean transparency should be abandoned. The issue isn’t about forcing anyone to subscribe, it’s about ensuring that when people do subscribe, they know exactly what they're getting. Hiding previews forces everyone, including long-term subscribers at renewal, to commit without a clear view of the content. Yes, RLC may be after subs, but they need to recognize that treating users transparently and giving them a way to make an informed decision is key to building trust and keeping them.

Moreover, the fact that their sister site openly displays exclusive content while RLC hides it only highlights an inconsistency in their approach. We're not trying to tell a business veteran how to run their company; we're simply advocating for a model that respects customers by giving them the full picture before they spend their money.

Briefly, RLC's current strategy prioritizes short-term subscription gains over the trust and transparency that underpin long-term customer loyalty and, consequently, long-term service sustainability. By hiding what subscribers are actually buying—and when you consider the glaring inconsistency of their sister site openly showcasing exclusive houses while already having most of the houses from the mother site—it becomes clear that this approach undermines credibility. Whether you're a new or existing subscriber, not knowing exactly what you're getting sets the stage for future dissatisfaction. Ultimately, a sustainable business model should honor transparency, ensuring that every customer can make informed decisions and thus keep the business sustainable and profitable for the company in the long-run.

Alright, I feel that I must apologize to you : I'm sorry that I said you're full of shit. I don't believe that anymore.

You are clearly suffering from some form of mental illness, and doing your very best that it doesn't show. Very brave of you !

I never meant to make fun of a mentally disabled person, and again, I truly apologize for that. I'll leave that conversation to not cause any more harm.

If I may, before leaving, you might want to seek professional medical support and care if you don't have any, or check with your practitian that the dosage is still efficient for whatever you're suffering from.

All the best in your recovery mate !

Your apology is noted, albeit with all that irony, sadly. However, let's steer back to the discussion and core issue remaining RLC’s lack of transparency, which affects all subscribers, current and potential alike. The service's approach, including its inconsistent content offerings across sites, deserves scrutiny on its own merits rather than veering into personal assessments. And what matters the most in the end is that despite comments showing lack of interest and discrediting the issue, the discussion was successfully opened.

Hey Max, they are in Cyprus just like VHTV.  Why Cyprus, possibly because of laws?

Cyprus , the biggest “ easy laundry “ existing place / country ( Cayman Islands and other similar places , don’t take into account ) . If anyone wanes to “ laundry money “ , Cyprus is “ Money In The Bank “ .

to be clear, i'm all for the boycott movement and agree with you 100%.  the part i have highlighted is the reason rlc is not worried about it.  they know they have long term customer loyalty and due to that fact they are not worried about the few that care about the blurred thumbnails/previews.

The people who currently own and call the shots at RLC have not owned it for over 10 years.  These idiots took over just prior to Covid.  2018 or 19.

RLC is a corporation. The shareholders are the ones that dictate which path RLC should take.

Oh?  Well you seem quite versed in what RLC is...please do tell us Mr Stncld...market cap?  #shares? #shareholders?  If they are a pubilcally held CORPORATION as you seem to imply...where are they located?  How bout the dividends?

A load of horse shit...RLC is controled by no more than 10 individuals max!

They're headquartered in the US somewhere in Colorado.  (Tech Fashion Inc.) but their servers are in Cyprus and a couple other spots due to the location of the apartments.

Been awhile since I have seen a DMCA report from them but that has all the particulars of location and who to contact by e-Mail or telephone.

They have servers in Toronto....right on front street.  But you said the shareholders are calling the shots...so which shareholders?  BTW...share holders at the company I work for do not call the day to day operations...they vote for a management team who they trust will buil equity and dividends.  Its that way in most corporations that have many shareholders...so, RLC has...how many?

And what about the final customer, who ultimately is who pays and gets access to the content? Doesn't he have a word to say? It crosses the line of ethics. People need to know what they are getting and what they are investing in, and if their money will be worth that investment in the end.
