It's one of a few polite terms we use in the UK. I mostly use 'the painters are in this week' but the proper saying is 'she's got the painter and decorators in this week'. Aunt Flo and also Shark Week are other terms used. Another saying is 'they are playing at home this week' if your sports team used red as the home game. Your misses would say 'they are playing at home this week'.

She will shower ...at least I hope for hygiene reasons, but whether it'll be on cam or off, it does not bother me at this moment in time.
