Nope it was because of visa which were granted for only 3 months, I guess 😉

That too, yes, and that was indeed the most "practical" reason. But that doesn't exclude another, more "commercial / creating novelty" reason.

They might have had EU girls (not sure) or girls with permanent residency (also not sure) who also stayed in GOV places for 3 months max.

Nowadays, they seem to work more with girls who have permanent residency, and these often stay longer. I'm not entirely sure, but I think that change in policy already happened before the invasion of Ukraine (which made it easier for Ukrainian tenants to get permanent/longer residency?...).

That's my recollection.  She left the project reluctantly because of issues elsewhere.
