So your point is moot: even with equal pay, women are less likely to apply for, and get hired, for that kind of jobs. For less physical jobs, I don't see why equal pay shouldn't be the norm. Are you from Afghanistan or somewhere similar? Or Utah? Or under a stone in some other very rural USA spot that's still kind of stuck in the 50s?
