Brokk! Posted August 12 Posted August 12 The funny thing about this situation is that they both need each other. Leora would have to strike a balance on her own between her outside affairs and "working" for RLC. And even if she were to separate from Paul, there is no guarantee she would find someone better than Paul, someone who would give her space, listen to her talk for minutes on end, and appreciate the company of a dog (assuming Paul didn't take Eva with him, or Leora didn't give Eva to Paul herself) or her mood swings. And most importantly: living in a house under 24-hour camera surveillance, with people watching on the other side, ready to criticize the suitor's every slightest misstep, without going crazy. Good luck to find a man like that. Paul could probably manage on his own...the problem is, who would pay the subscription for a guy who works from his computer every day? So, sooner or later, they will inevitably have to try to patch things up. 1

As I said before, she needs him because he’s the only one who gives her space, understands her, and is patient with her. Someone else might not give her that space, understand her, or remain patient the moment Leora raises her voice. 2
