I mean , it is obvious that it is something is lost but Paul losing control , talking in a bad way to Leora , it EASILY simply shows again the anger and temper issues this guy has and it is - in my opinion - his “ dark “ secret let’s say . This will always be for Leora what she will be afraid of him , unpredictable anger and temper triggering .

She didn't buy it; it was given to her by RLC. When she leaves, RLC will do whatever it wants with it.
