Leora & Paul Pictures - Split #1

I was thinking a shortwave radio antenna.

With that size it would be for longwave (low frequency), not shortwave (high frequency). The antenna size must be the multiple of the wave length. So say you want a 2.4Ghz antenna, the wave length is speed of light / 2400000 = 0.125 meters = 12.5 cm. (typical wireless antenna).

Thank you seemafor.  Did you get to see it.  What do you think.  The other day I saw him with the old style headphones used in WWII the small round back ones.  Not sure if it has anything to do with what I think was the antenna.  I might be wrong.  My x told me I was wrong a lot.

Yes, thank you seemafor. I recall when I used to listen to shortwave, I hooked up a long wire antenna -- easier to make.

For low frequencies, I suspect he plans to talk to submarines and whales.  ;D
