actually, if you want to keep from getting sick, avoid adding anything with carbonation to anything that has alcohol...it makes you sick.  Think about the guys in the bar, that drink all the time...they drink it on the rocks, neat, or straight.  CO2 and Alcohol make a much more potent brew for your brain.  Try it..also stick with one alcohol for the night...you will be able to function better the next day.  Just Sayin'
