TBG 150 Posted December 16, 2021 Share Posted December 16, 2021 I did a little digging on the 429 you said was a Hemi. I had never heard of a full Hemi headed engine from Ford. Come to find out just how rare it is. The heads are designed in a Semi-Hemi design, meaning they didn't have the full dome of a true Hemi where the plugs go straight in through the top. These heads still allow for the plugs to be placed at a 45 degree angle to the plane of the head. The history behind it is interesting and how it ended up in the Rustang.
