When DeepDave or I or anyone says we "love Martina", you don't equate that with someone truly loving her like a spouse or a girlfriend or a lover, do you? Speaking just for me, I love Martina much like someone might love Barbra Streisand (I don't) or a rock band like Boston (I do) or a character on a TV show (like Raymond Reddington who I adore). I know none of these people personally and would probably would not get along with them if I did. So for Martina, she checks all the physical attractiveness boxes for me (as does others, i.e. Holly) and I love her attitude ... and as a "character on RLC" which ultimately they are all characters ... I simply adore her and want what is best for her. If there was one RLC cast member I could spend the night with, it would be her. I would have to get in line I know. Don't you have public figures that you adore and love and idolize? Perhaps some famous Texan or someone like John Wayne or whoever? This is the context I think we have when we say "we love Martina". I see your point, we talk about them AS IF THEY WERE CLOSE TO US. But that is the fun part. And, if we are honest with ourselves, this is perhaps the biggest reason why RLC is not real ... because we all attach to them as if they were TV characters.

We really are not that far apart on Alberto. I agree he is a very smart guy and probably has some strong talents. I think the fact that he doesn't seem to use these skills and talents is what frustrates Martina. I too am hopeful that Alberto will find some purpose in life and build something for himself. The culinary idea was wonderful in my opinion. But we have not seen anything materialize around that, have we? I don't think spending time on his cellphone equates to "doing something with his life". Most all young people use their phones constantly and know a huge amount about apps and how all this stuff works. If he is designing nuclear reactors on his cell phone, then yes ... this would be a purposeful life. (Trying hard to not go overboard on the sarcasm but sometimes I can't help it). It seems like you are assuming that he is doing "something with his life" when he is out with his bike. This of course is possible. But my bet would be that he is riding his bike when he is out riding his bike. Bike riders can be intense and go all day. Nothing wrong with this at all BTW. In fact, if he was training to compete in bike riding, that would be something of a purpose, wouldn't it? Lastly I would plead guilty to overusing the word "ni ni" that @emnv blessed us with. If I had time I would go back and dig up his original post; however, the reason it resonates with me is that I thought it described Alberto perfectly. But yes this isn't the first time I have latched onto something clever and beaten the shit of it.

I apologize for being critical of your post. It's obvious you care very much about them and that is really commendable. I was going to just leave well-enough alone, but I simply can't let the above statement stand. Do you seriously think Alberto has off-cam activities of any serious consequence? He hardly is ever off-cam and may be one of the most on-cam people on RLC. When he is off-cam, I think we are 99% certain he is either walking the dogs, bike riding, getting groceries, or with Martina (pretty much in that order I bet). Anyway, sorry to be critical Deep ... I think you are one of the more honest and authentic posters here and I appreciate your views.

Harley ... I don't think ANYONE here believes any of this is "real life". You cannot have "real life" with cameras on you 24x7. But I think DeepDave has a point that perhaps he has not made very succinctly. If you look at all the apartments, most of the girls seem to just live in the apartment and do shows ... almost like a cam girl on chaturbate ... but instead of sitting in front of a desk cam, they have cams all over the house. You do not see much of what these girls are all about. They clearly are here to perform for the camera. Yes we see Holly doing some sewing and Nana on her laptop ... they have hobbies ... and they bring friends in from time to time ... but by and large, their lives all seem very staged. The fact that they are here on 30, 90, 120 day contracts, etc. reinforces this "staged" feeling. I think this is different for Martina & Alberto. They seem to have a purpose in life beyond just performing on cam. This is especially true for Martina as we have seen her study and work on some personal goals and try to live her life by partying, etc. It seems to me that she looks at the RLC cams as just a cool way to get an apartment for free. She is not shy and very open and doesn't care to let people see her fuck ... but to me, her purpose is not to be here to perforrm for us. It is harder to see this with Alberto and he in fact might just be here to perform for the cash ... but if he is truly stuck in his life as a ni ni ... this could make it feel like he is a cam boy when in fact he is just stuck in life. Both scenarios would look similar to us. What this tells me is that if the GOV/COV cast members are here ONLY to perform (not live their lives like the couples) ... then it's clear that they are not very good at performing. It tells me they need to recruit more Masha-like girls to perform for us. This would dilute their brand identity though and make RLC more of a pure porn site which is maybe why they don't do this. The GOV apartments also perhaps are showing us that all those GIRLS GONE WILD videos are pretty much bullshit and most college spring break events are boring. I recall a lot of my friends who went to college and went on spring break telling me that it was nothing more than pretty lame for them. And these are girls who were sluts in high school. I don't think any of the GOV/COV apartments have this same sort of "real life" feel. The couples apartments have more of it and I think Martina/Alberto's apartment honors this authenticity the best. Anyway this is just my opinion and you will chew my head off but so be it.

Martina and Bruno are very similar. They want sexual relationships outside of their main love interest. The issue for both of them is that their partners don't embrace this or at best, like Alberto, are indifferent. So here is my solution: Put Martina & Bruno in the same apartment. They can fuck all they want both on-cam and off-cam and with whoever and whenever. No harm no foul ever. And it would be difficult to call Bruno a ni ni who just stays around the apartment all the time. Put Gina & Alberto in the same apartment. At one point, the main theory of their issues was that he likes to flirt and not be faithful to Gina ... If I had time my friend, I would go back March/April and compare my posts with yours from those days. I think we have like totally reversed our opinions. I was hugely critical of Alberto back in those days and I recall you were "hey they have been in a long relationship and they are comfortable together and every couple's lovemaking becomes more pedestrian over time ... nothing to see here ... blah blah blah". Now I am cutting Alberto some slack and you are critical of him. To me, what this means is that we really do not understand their relationship. Some have speculated that it is simply a FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS arrangement ... using RLC to make some cash ... and I really wonder if that is all it is.

@ddhm takes a lot of criticism here but I must admit I enjoy it the most when it is humorous. Not so sure my good friend. It appears that Tereza is as much guilty of wanting to stay monomagous as Timur. I agree with you DD that last night was fun to watch. I missed most of it but caught bits and pieces on the phone. But we should never forget that we all watch because we hope to see some good sex at the end. Honestly the only thing I recall ever stopping the sex was someone puking or passing out in a way that scared us (happened a couple of times). This is not a criticism of these cast members but perhaps a criticism of RLC who selects them ... there has to be some sort of sexual attraction between them for us to get our payoff. These people are close as friends go but deep down they know they are putting on a show and if they don't flat out feel like "going for it" ... they won't. I have to admit I don't quite understand it. Like last night when they finally went to bed, Masha spooned up behind Tereza and caresses her breasts. I don't understand how that happens unless those two are a couple for months/years, etc. For me, that would have been a signal to give each other orgasms. I have a lot of respect for you DeepDave (the other DD 😀) but I don’t understand how you can be so sure of this since Martina absolutely has looked for sex with Nelly outside the home. Maybe at first she did not go looking but she quickly fell for Nelly. And she openly shared these details with Alberto … which has all been reliably reported. If she is capable of this with Nelly, might she not be capable of this again? She had sex with Nelly with Alberto in the apartment … but she wouldn’t do it behind his back or away from the apartment and off-cam? Now you are probably right that what she does all night is probably not hurtful of Alberto … but I would never be sure of this without more evidence. In fact, I could make this argument: Alberto is cool with her having multiple sexual relationships. But when she fell for Nelly, what really upset both of them was NOT the sex with Nelly but rather how harsh we all judged them (few exceptions). I too was very hard on Alberto like many of us here and maybe Martina does not wish for that to happen ever again.
