No it's not selfishness, Nina is an artist, she lives sometimes in a parallel world, I think that there on the contrary, she wanted to please Kira by going to her. But she doesn't realize that she's keeping Kira awake... I know someone like that, very nice, but who at times lives in another world, which gives this impression of being selfish.
