thanks that was very good but the programme does not appear in the uninstall programme list. it also has an active file in the task manager which cant be shut down as with the file directory it is protected

does anyone know how to get rid of MPC Cleaner it has infiltrated my pc without my permission and wont let me uninstall it

i have dissabled edge i found it slow and erratic. I now use Maxthon cloud browser its chrome based without the privacy issues and the blocker work a treat
