I feel your pain, I too had to put down my 16 yo Sheltie 4 yrs ago, and I still miss him.
Here's a little something I found, hope it helps ease some pain:

If you were watching the feed, you will notice when they got up all were fully clothed, so no hanky-panky. Did not watch the video to see if it also shows the end when they all went to bed, and likely not together.
The current banner ad at the top of the forum pages is throwing a 'Mixed Content' warning bar at bottom of screen. The link for the Banner is https:// , but the actual ad is HTTP.
I despise ad folks to try to use HTTPS in the name of 'better security' then fetch an ad from elsewhere that could care less. There are starting to be number of ads that could contain spyware, or when tricked into clicking on the ad will deliver you to a malicious site where anything can happen.
Can the ad be replaced or maybe rotated out or something ?
Thanks.
With these two back CC is going to have to put on a couple more hamsters with bigger power wheels to run the site.
At times its already showing signs of slowing down once the posting crazies get going...
Speaking of JRE going away, YES! here:

I've not had Java JRE on this machine in over 2 yrs now.. no regrets, nothing missed, other than the malware attempts to exploit Java.
I'm still getting lock ups and now I'm almost certain they are coming from the ads for the cam-chat.. Three times now I have caught the lockup and the ads are failing to load showing what is sometimes known as the 'green screen of death', i.e. usually a Flash crash, though I don't have flash enabled on IE 11, but the green screens are coming from the ads, so perhaps its locked up on their end, sending something that IE11 freezes on....
