Leora never uses English except when she sings, and in fact even when she uses it it is certainly not perfect. I doubt they spoke English to each other. You can always explain then how she hurt her elbow. Has a bubble burst? Did she hit any corners? Before she had nothing. No, that has nothing to do with it. She would NOT have done anything ANYWAY, regardless of what she would have done today. Indeed, perhaps then she would have done something before disappearing. I think she shaved but pretended not to, It wouldn't be the first time she's done this. Leora just didn't realize she cut herself on the elbow...And when Leora does this it's because she has to hide where she goes or who she meets.
