  4. Don't want to be poor in Canada!! Rapid spread of Omicron showing "tale of two pandemics: rich and poor" WWW.MSN.COM As parts of Canada see staggering rises in COVID-19 activity amid Omicron's rapid spread, experts say the highly transmissible variant is training a spotlight on social inequities across the country. Dr. Amit...
  5. The world governments and those in power are using the word Covid-as is the news media as though the now prevalent Omicron variant is just as dangerous as the Delta variant. According to current available statistics it is not--just more contagious -but with much less hospiitalizations and severe illness for those who choose to be vaccinated. But lessening the restrictions, mandates, and bans would mean they would lose power over their constituents. Enough is enough.
  6. But with Omicron-even if you are infected and pass it along to a vaccinated person---no big deal. The problem is with the unvaccinated, but IMO that is their choice and governments should not be penalizing the rest of us with mandates, restrictions, and downright barring entry into venues. If you are not vaccinated you have been warned plenty of times and getting sick is your problem.
  7. A good example of those idiots in power who pass laws without actually knowing or considering the consequences. The electrical grids are not sufficient enough to handle the extra load of all electric powered homes. Just how do the regulators and lawmakers think that New York will be able to produce the additional electricity required??? Solar just does not work very well in the winter.
  8. Seeing how the Omicron mutation is very contagious but however producing little or very mild symptoms or illness, it seems to me that governments are over-reacting to this strain and creating more un-necessary concern. Seem that this variant might be even less severe than the flu and here we are again with more mandates and restrictions.
  9. Glad you are better now. This has been one of my favorite songs thru the years and what powerful images you just posted with that song..
  10. Then we have the Moderna CEO creating more panic by saying the vaccines may not be effective against the Omicron virus. And the main stream media for the most part spreading the fear. However, the virus may not cause serious illness Doctor treating Omicron patients describes what she is seeing WWW.MSN.COM Dr. Angelique Coetzee, one of the first doctors in South Africa treating Omicron patients, joins New Day to discuss the severity and symptoms she is seeing in patients with the latest Covid-19 variant.
  11. Even MSNBC which was banned by Judge Schroeder disagrees with you. Opinion | Why the judge in the Rittenhouse trial wasn't as bad as you may think WWW.MSNBC.COM During this trial, Judge Bruce Schroeder handed down the type of evidentiary rulings that are made in courtrooms throughout the country every day. Further--about the lottery drawing Lastly, Schroeder also sparked outrage by allowing Rittenhouse to be the one to reach his hand in the tumbler and randomly pick which people would serve as jurors and which served as alternates. Let’s start with the most important fact first: There is no allegation that Rittenhouse, or anyone else, was able to rig the system and actually choose who sat on his jury. Again, this is apparently Schroeder’s regular practice. The worry is that this looks bad, and when it comes to questions of whether or not the judge is biasing the jury, that is a real concern. But it is not clear that allowing Rittenhouse, as opposed to a court clerk, to be the one to reach his hand in the tumbler made the jury think he is any more or less guilty of the crimes he was charged with.
  12. You do not know that and cannot prove it to be true. The real test will be with the Aubrey trial--3 white men ( and a former cop to boot) slaughtering an unarmed black boy who was doing nothing criminal. It is very obvious that the defense attorney is racist.
  13. Well I guess since golfer06 and OU_812 have left the discussions everyone else must think no need to post anything as we would be preaching to the conservative choir. 🙂
