  1. Alexandra acting like she does not feel well---Lucian was feeling her forehead to see if she had a temp
  2. And that is exactly what Trump is trying to do--let other countries handle their own affairs without US interference. And about the masks--the US obviously needs masks more than some of the other countries, such as Canada and Germany (look at the number of cases) --so why is it so bad for any leader to try and procure whatever is needed to protect his people from this pandemic ???
  3. https://www.npr.org/sections/coronavirus-live-updates/2020/04/03/826629472/slammed-by-trump-3m-says-n95-mask-exports-from-u-s-should-continue But the company has been criticized for how those respirators are being distributed โ€” and with the U.S. now reporting more coronavirus cases than any other country, the thinking goes that U.S. companies should service the domestic market, and most importantly the national health care system, first. Billionaire Mark Cuban was among the first to sharply criticize the company, launching an attack in late March that apparently got the attention of government officials. 3M lists all its distributors online, the ones buying and selling these things, and these distributors are making as much money as they possibly can," Cuban said in a Bloomberg News interview. "It's wrong, it's criminal."The director of Florida's Division of Emergency Management echoed Cuban's tone as he attacked 3M this week, saying the company was profiteering while hiding behind a network of distributors and brokers."I'm your new Troll," Jared Moskowitz said in a tweet directed at 3M. He added, "Please send us N95 masks directly to our hospitals, first responders and the state. How many brokers and distributors do we have to negotiate with only to find empty warehouses?" finding respirators, Moskowitz said, is like chasing ghosts. 2,726 people are talking about this Last month, Trump tasked Rear Adm. John Polowczyk with streamlining the supply chain for personal protective equipment and reducing shortages in a critical area of the COVID-19 fight. As the administration announced the new Defense Production Act orders Thursday, the admiral was asked about scenarios in which some governors, such as New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, compared the current market for N95 masks and other gear to a bidding war on eBay. "I am now seeing truth about what's in the supply chain," Polowczyk said. "And I would say that there's been some abnormal behavior."

  11. Actually I print all the tweets, and quotes by Pelosi on paper--so I can tear them up and use them for TP. ๐Ÿ˜
  12. Right now with everyone being more or less told to stay at home, customers have had to resort to online orders and home deliveries. The workers cannot keep up with the demand placed on them. It was recently announced that UPS and FedEx will merge--the new company will be called FedUP ๐Ÿ˜

  19. I understood that--but again, we can only work with the numbers we are given and whether or not they are entirely accurate does not matter in this case. . What I was pointing out- that given the same set of numbers--there are different perspectives on presenting the data in a more comparative way. That is all.
  20. That may be true--however, a statement was made with the figures available, and using those same but updated figures, I just showed a different perspective.
  21. This is the current data--pay close attention to the deaths per 1 million population and the cases per 1 million in population. This is a much better comparision Germany has twice the number of cases/infections per 1 million than the USA. The USA has only 1 more death for each 1 million in population. Country, Other Total Cases New Cases Total Deaths New Deaths Total Recovered Active Cases Serious, Critical Tot Cases/ 1M pop Deaths/ 1M pop World 702,368 +39,286 33,178 +2,321 149,215 519,975 26,337 90.1 4.3 USA 131,403 +7,825 2,329 +108 4,378 124,696 2,948 397 7 Germany 60,659 +2,964 482 +49 9,211 50,966 1,979 724 6 But as AntEater said above--" So it's not a competition, everyone is doing their best for their people, how can you hate on that?" In conclusion--quit comparing your Country to everyone else---If you are a scientist as you claim, you sure skew the numbers to fit your narrative- That is unscientific.
