    Hi Barry,

    I am trying very hard to ignore Solembum. He started off favourable towards Leora then decided that Paul was bad for her (not an uncommon view) but then starting blaming Leora for not leaving him It did not take him long before starting to criticise every aspect of her so that is bordering on abuse. He also has a problem with me because I suggested the reason he turned against her was because he tried to contact her (like several do, but not me) and she spurned him, so his repeated name calling was akin to that of a 5 year old. Since then I have also been a target despite the fact that I told him I was ignoring his bile.

    Unfortunately i see what he says on the activity and if people quote him. Obviously I agree with his freedom to express himself, I just do not get why he persists with little or no support.

    I wrote this as an alternative to attacking him on the board.

    RLC will do nothing about Leora and Paul. She's too big a star for them. Although after last August she spent time in the GR carefully looking through a document which I guess was their RLC contract. I saw her looking through it again a few weeks ago. She keeps it in the wardrobe.

    For a kick off, joey, Russia is a huge country and has many many different cultures more than most people can imagine so stereotyping is ridiculous. You might say in the US that they are many different ethnic groups but the overall culture is probably lot more homogeneous being a much younger country whereas even though under the same country local differences may be far more ingrained. Fortunately the world is shrinking and we are gradually gaining a consensus on what is acceptable behaviour. Considering that in London for instance there is almost a majority who have at least 1 parent not born in the UK then marrying a foreign national would probably considered by the vast majority of women although not for the specific reason you gave. OK well I don't know all the details on Russia but a more macho, misogynist culture than parts of Central America would simply be impossible to match such is the power of the cartels who rape women at any excuse. There have been a few documentaries on them.

    Yes I noticed those marks but I have no idea of the origin. Don't really seem commensurate with a BSDM session to me from what I know about them, just because of their position. There are lot of girls who self harm (and indeed I know one) and also those who enjoy (or have a need) to be harmed. The problem is that otherwise these people function very normally and you would not know their secret unless they told you. Often the 2 groups overlap. I have had a relationship with someone who did like to be spanked and more really hard and in the end I just could not continue with it. I enjoyed the spanking but what they wanted was too much and I certainly would not be interested in causing a wound. However there could well be an innocent explanation. If you are a clumsy person, like me, that kind of injury is not uncommon and entirely accidental. I've found quite deep scratches on my arm without remembering them happening.
