  1. That car belongs to the past president of the Cadillac & LaSalle Club. It's up on BaT now. It's a true one owner, 3000 mile car. A video was just done for BaT that shows the top operation. According to the owner, it's the first time the top has ever moved. What's it worth? That question is answered by whatever the seller will accept and what the buyer will be willing to pay. I think he wants pretty stupid money for it though. It's getting a lot of chatter on the Club forum.
  2. Someones going to buy that for two reasons. The C-20 and the 396 under the hood.
  3. Depends on how much money is in for the win. Still, I agree with you.
  4. I don't have a transmission dipstick on my truck. But then, a transmission shouldn't use fluid at ll. If it does, there's clearly a leak. It only uses fluid for hydraulic pressure.
  5. But it doesn't rinse or spin dry!
  6. Labs are the best!
  7. I can fully understand why. It's the strap holding the shoe on that haunts me.
  8. I thought that they were referring to me, not you! But it does say, 'we'.
  9. WTF Spy? That one set off all of the alarms. What do the idiots in a 3rd world shithole like Montenegro know about 1959 Cadillacs? Glad I have a great protection program.
  10. Yeah, that's the truth. But I still didn't have any hot teachers.
  11. An everyday thing in Russia.
  12. We can't all have a brain.
  13. That has to be one of the most annoying "influencers" on the planet. I hate people that scream at you like they are a child.
  14. More insanity. The basic car like this one, a Rustang, a Charger/Challenger/Road Runner, etc... can be built right out of a box from YearOne parts. They are there to permit a person with a rusted out POS to hang on new panels, cheapy wheels and interior parts and sell the thing before the replacement parts start to rust. That's usually within a year. I could build a dozen of these 'belly button' cars, if I even liked them. But I don't. Go try finding parts for a pre-war Lincoln, Cadillac, Chrysler, Packard, even Oldsmobile and Pontiacs. That stuff goes for mega-bucks. I like about any large car built prior to 1977. I had my race cars and noisy exhaust cars. I like smooth, quiet, air conditioned luxury. But, at 8 mpg, they aren't exactly flying off of the for sale ads. It takes a collector that sees how to spend money and never get it back. 😄
  15. Stupid money is out there. Is the car worth that much? I say no, but then, it's what the market bears. It's all in what the buyer will pay and the seller will accept. On this one, there was $60,000 in buyers and sellers fees. That's just crazy.
  16. I wonder if he knows.
  17. Why would anyone go up to someone else's car and lean on it, sit on it or even touch it? It's NOT YOUR CAR, Get the fuck away from it. Bunch of Gen Z piss asses. They should be shot. That is why I don't attend car shows. Ignorant shit bags that have 0 respect for someone else's property.
  18. As good as can be expected for an old coot. It was nice to work in the rain today for a change. This 90F/32C heat will kill you! Making it known that I'm working for me. Someone that appreciates my labor, unlike the whip wielding employers.
  19. Is he still around? I have seen anything from him in ages.
