Welcome back to the zoo. You've got a free life-time pass, so you might as well use it. But believe me, I understand that once in a while, it's good to take a break from all this fast action on the CC threads...😏

Exactly 2.35 people have you on their ignore list.
99% of government-paid civil engineering agree with me, so it must be true.

Foamy, Although I do not post pics videos or chat. I, do follow the Krasnoyarsk apartments and have since before either couple L-P or M-S moved in. What ever happened to Maya happened while she was out walking the dog. Evidently, based on how she was holding her hand, and the fact that she skinned her leg just below the knee. My "guess" was that for what ever reason, tripped and took the brunt of her fall on her right hand. Based on a personal accident I had sixty plus years ago when I was in the fifth grade. She probably cracked one of the two bones above the wrist. If that is the case she will be in the splint for approximately six weeks. I also have been a member of CC for nearly the same amount of time. I admire your patience with dealing with the feuds on Cam Caps. Respectfully, Scutus.

Thank you for the information.
I, too, managed to hit pavement once. At 35 mph. Shattered my wrist and ulna into about 20 pieces. Fortunately, I had great medical care and the hand is 100% functional. Chalk up 10 points for cars with automatic transmissions!
I believe she's right-handed so this will definitely impede her lifestyle.

This could well be my last hoorah around here. And I'm sure that the libs and pope Watcher will be glad of that.
But if ever noticed, it was always someone else who threw the first stone. It's just that mine were just a little bit bigger.
Anyway, I hope everything is going well for you and your family, and if I should fade away from here, I hope that you and all the others that I think so well of will always know that I truly do care about them.
It's just that without you and TBG, it's just not the same for me anymore.
I will wait and see if Mr. Milk Toast cares to respond, but then, at some point soon, I'll probably just gradually vanish from view like smoke from a cigarette.
In all sincerity, I wish you all the best.
Your friend,
Woody

I banned Maturin for what he did to KK; but the system collapsed that night (hacked) and it didn't take. I heard from her once or twice since then; she's moved on. She was either a very entertaining fake (I like those) or she was one of the wackiest women I've ever met through the internet. Kinda miss her, along with several other members who moved on. They seem to have been replaced by too many adolescent jack-offs.
Anyhow, I don't know where your problems with Watcher were posted, and the other mods haven't mentioned it.
We've had problems with people repeatedly calling some of the girls whores in the Apartment threads; which technically is true (high-class whores), but some things are better left unsaid. It just promotes food fights, and gets trollish after a while. As for myself, I'll take an honest slut over a pretentious "Princess" any day of the week. Besides, they're cheaper to maintain.
-
-
Well, I suspect sparks are going to fly now at the presidential debate, since pope Watcher decided to try to take a subtle swipe at me, for the post that I left a week or so back towards what Maturin had said about Trump.
Anyway, I think I trimmed his sail pretty good, and now lets see how well his own ego manages to handle it.

I try to stay out of Rants & Flame wars. It's bad for the blood pressure, and obviously a lot of those people grew up sniffing glue.
I'll be traveling Sunday through Thursday, so I won't be checking in. I don't play favorites as a mod, but I have mentioned before to SC and TBG that if they every wanted to ban you, they'd better clear it through me. I'd just undo the ban or the "warning points" anyway...
Some jack-ass troll floated the rumor that Anton and Alina would be coming back in October. Most likely it's bullshit, but if it does happen, I expect TBG to get back in. He always had a thing for that woman.

Foamy,
I'm thinking once again about the blog thing, but I don't how it works.
By that I mean, how do you sanction only certain people to be able to enter it, or read it? And can you also post pictures, and videos there? I ask that because while there wouldn't be too many pictures or videos, some of them bear a close resemblance, and one is an amazing likeness of one of the key people in my past. In fact, it couldn't be more exact than if it was of an identical twin in his case, in every aspect. Right down to the teeth and mustache.
If I do bother to dredge up the distant past, it is not for the reasons than some may think, as I have no need to bolster my own ego in this way. But it is something that for some of the better people here might find somewhat interesting.
I still can't promise that I will even bother to do it, as I don't think of it right now as anything all that fun to do. But again, for some here it may be worth while in some respects all the same.
It won't be everything of course, as that would require a book full of pages, and I've never been inclined to do a book about it.
But whatever snippets I would do, I would try to a fairly decent job of it.
Your friend, as always,
Woody

There is a requestor type of box when you install a new blog asking if you want it to be public or private. If private or invite only, you then put in the members name and that will give them access.
I pretty much gave up on the debate. Same ol shitty platitudes and scripted crap from Hillary. Trump was Trump as usual, but at least he spoke like the average joe in the local bar. I hate smug, pretentious pandering polished liars, anyway.
-
-
Against my better judgment, I've decided that I am going to watch the fucking debate tonight. Circus that it is.
After all, there is still an outside chance, that Hillary might become overwhelmed by it all and spin around and do a nose dive right there in front of seventy million people.
It could be one of those, where were you type of things.
"Where were you when they carried Hillary off on a liter during the first debate?"
And I wouldn't want to miss something like that.

I was still dropping in quarters in the ole juke box. I hope you appreciated Harry Roy and his orchestra from 1931.
Probably the nicest serenade to a twat that I ever heard.

Just checking in after reading your comments to Legrand. He's a good guy.
Hope you're doing OK, too.
This health thing really sucks with people in our age group. So keep healthy and keep posting.

No defib for me. I just get A-Fib and tach-out if I don't watch my meds or drink too much.
My brother has had major surgery and bypasses, and he's got the cyborg monitor & defib. It's saved his life a couple times, and his doctors know what the fuck is going on at all times so they can adjust things. If you get so you can handle it, it's probably a good thing.
I really need to start running and exercising more and quit using sciatica as an excuse to be lazy.

Twins? That's really neat.
One of my granddaughters was a preemy and she's perfectly superior in every way compared to her classmates. You'd never know. She's taller than her mother or grandmother and never had less than an A in her classes.
My problem is electrical. Not clogging. It's under somewhat control now. A-Fib you just pass out. V-Fib you check out. As they say. Neither one is cozy while one is still conscious.

Hang in there as long as you can. Thank god for your children. There's something about raising a son who turns out to be better than his father!
I wish StnCld had family nearby. Sometimes I think we're the only family he's got.
I've got a few problems but I'm still kicking.
Incidentally, my eldest son's daughter had a baby girl. My wife and I are now Great-Grandparents. Never thought I'd live to see the day. Oddly, it made me feel younger.

There's not many places left to go anymore around here at Camcaps. And I no longer care to visit the political section of this forum, as I don't tend to suffer fools very kindly. Hell, even Quasi Moto would have kicked them out of the belfry without even giving it a thought.
He wasn't much on looks, but his heart was in the right place.

As I recall, Quasi worked for the church, and any funding he received came by willful donors.
He certainly wasn't a welfare queen.
Therefore, he is good. Hard worker. Can carry heavy loads. He can ring her bells.
As for Mr. Box, yeah, he drives me crazy, so I don't go to that forum much. I think he's on the Clinton Family Crime Foundation's payroll. But he's decent in the controlled threads, and the World Politics section and Rants&Flames is just to keep blood pressure up when you're afraid you're dead. Nobody's going to change their mind on the issues, anyway. Either you believe in liberty, or you don't and are therefore a mother fucking totalitarian cunt-bitch-whore dupe of the Communist International who sucks goat cocks. (I think I stated that accurately, huh?)
I hope TBG gets back so I have more time to spend at Old Dudes with you and the other old-timers. Policing the little boys over in the apartment threads and watching for spammers really fucks up my day. Hope your weather is getting decent and that you are doing OK.
Keep in touch, Dave. We go back a ways and hearing from you makes things around here a whole lot more tolerable.

PS: My grandparents always watched the Lawrence Welk Show. I had a friend in grade school who played an accordion. Then I didn't really see one again until I saw Weird Al play one in concert. It's really a wonderful machine.

With all that I have swimming around in my head just now, I don't want you to have any misgivings upon my respect, or friendship towards you.
That stupid post about the elephants was prompted because I had mentioned hurriedly about almost running into an elephant in a quick PM to you, without even explaining just how or why those fucking elephants were even there in the first place.
So the next day I felt like I ought to explain to you primarily, so that you didn't think that somehow ole Woody was completely nuts.
Anyway,.. I hope you didn't take it the wrong way.

108F here today. But it was "dry heat." That will get you shot up or beaten if you say that around these parts.
The older I get, the more I like a steady 80 degrees...zero humidity.
I would imagine your climate to be much worse .I visited New Hampshire in the summer once and it was "only 85 degrees" -- easy, I thought, but the humidity damn near killed me.
You take care of yourself...

My ancestors were in New Amsterdam in the late 1620's, the rest were in British Colonies (NH and MA). I do have some very old photos. None of the men, regardless of their age, have an ounce of fat on them. Thin, but they could haul logs and father many, many children. The women could make anything necessary to sustain the family. The men generally died as a result of hard labor, and the women died while in labor.
The more I study such people, the more I respect them and the more I become more cynical about our generation.
