    Eh @jabbath1987, another lesson coming up..... There are many strange phrases in english,for example....... Posher people may say "Oh that's awfully good of you" or "That's awfully nice" Rather a contradiction of terms eh as if somethings awful it can't be good or nice can it. There are many more strange phrases may think of them later lol.

    Assume you have heard the saying "Thank god for that" well it's just a british crude way of saying the same thing. Probably a more polite way of saying the same thing is "Thank goodness for that" Future english lessons will be charged at the going rate
