I have criticized your way of rejecting any news about Covid-19 that do not fit your bias. That's something I've often noticed with a lot of Trump followers. They live in a self created news bubble. Anyway, I got a question for you: In an official Covid-19 press conference, Trump suggested that it might be useful to inject disinfectants into Covid-19 patients. He also said some nonsense about treating people with strong UV light (also "inside the body"; however that is supposed to work). We are in a worldwide crisis and this asshole steps in front of the cameras with such a ridiculous bullshit talk. Do you think this is a useful contribution to the fight against Covid-19? -

Real life insights are unfortunately not included in GOV. 😟 I had always hoped that Gina would start in Barcelona with a roommate concept. Something without shows, but with a real view in her private life. However, this will probably not happen. I was also hoping RLC would open a couple Apartment with Piper and Tylor and that also not happend.

To condense and transmit the essential Information is ultimately the task of the media. The interpretation of events and even the expression of opinions is also part of it. I believe more and more that the critical voices towards the media are partly connected with the unwillingness to accept the news. Consider this thread as an example. People like @Ridgerunner intentionally ignore certain information. They want a strong economy, so they like to believe in a miracle cure of Covid-19. News that says otherwise is talked down and dismissed as an anti-Trump propaganda. Unconfirmed assumptions, if they fit into one's own perception, are reinforced and spread. We all want to get over this issue as soon as possible and that life becomes normal again. Only the quickest way is not to take shelter in a fantasy idea. Instead of ignore the issue we have to accept the challenge and manage it. Currently there is no miracle cure. This does not mean, however, that the economy cannot start again. It only means that there will still be restrictions and that smart ideas are needed on how to be still successful in this Situation.

Believe me, I am very interested in a constructive discussion. I have referenced many scientific sources here and explained my opinion. I find this discussion important and find it great that something like this is possible in a forum like CC (which normaly deals with other topics). I also find it important to have this discussion open and honestly. I know, you dislike me, but I hope you have the same intention.

Sorry, as long as Trump is trying to give medical advice on Covid-19, this is part of the Covid-19 discussion. Even if his recommendations read like suicide instructions. In General the politics About Covid-19 (e.g. any measures) fit into this thread in my opinion.

Yes, I must accept that criticism. It's not right to descripe a person as disgusting. What I find rather a pity are the actions of RLC with the GOV apartments. All this silly Shows, the pseudo lesben Events, all the other bullshit there, Elettra is just a Show Girl. It is RLC that is to blame.

Elettra and Ginger are perhaps the most disgusting girls I have seen on RLC. Way too exaggerated, all a silly show for the camera. Both are not exactly attractive either.

Even with only blurry previews I can see that there were more than two bullshit shows on RLC. From experience I know that all this shows were silly and lifeless. Especially GOV hides the real life of the residents and turns RLC into a freak show. Real erotic can't emerge at all, because there is no real attraction between the show girls. All just a waste of resources and time.

Trump is just an incredibly arrogant, egocentric fool. This single press convergence alone should make it clear to everyone how much Trump is overchallenged with his job. Honestly, I believe that the economy will soon start up again . More and more companies in Germany are creating concepts for the restart. Work will be different, but certainly no freeze.

You pretend it as if the modeller is trying to represent a pre-made opinion. Normaly, the scientists do the exact opposite and try to bring these models as close to reality as possible. Each model contains assumptions. These assumptions are not simply made up, but derived from existing knowledge. Sure, this knowledge is not very accurate at the beginning of a pandemic, but over time it will be enhanced. An essential ability of these models is to break down complex relationships into partial effects that can be described and valued. Anyway, one thing should be clear to you, the decisions made by politicians and their advisers are largely based on observation and not so much on the models. This applies in particular to the measures taken in the USA, because they had the knowledge from other countries like those in Europe. I think that even without a single of this complex models, similar measures would have been taken. Simply because this was the best way to prevent an overburdening of the health care system like we saw in northern Italy, for example. One thing where the models really help is to understand the influence of different effects and countermeasures. Something that will help us a lot in the time after the first look down.

You realize we're talking about the same virus, right? Anyway, Listen carefully to what Dr. Fauci actually said: The fact that the USA can hope for numbers below 100.000 death is a success of these measures. They work as intended.

What makes you think that the models were the primary basis for the decisions? What makes you think the measures were not appropriate? It seems to me that you completely ignore the problems we have seen in many European countries. The measures were or are necessary to prevent an exponential trend. Without these measures, the problem would already be many times more extreme.

That is the problem with self-appointed experts raising unfounded hopes in press convergences. The whole thing becomes a question of faith instead of a scientific approach. If hydroxychloroquine can not produce better results than Vitamin C, it would have failed as a medication for Covid-19. Now, it is time to wait for further study results, but that would have been a good idea also for Trump before he started to make drug recommendation. Just pictures and gifs? Have you ever taken a look at the USA thread? All those memes there make actual discussions virtually impossible. Sorry, but I still think your idea is complete nonsense. Without the possibility to disprove false statements by facts (including links to the sources) everybody can post bullshit. The unwillingness of some parts of society (especially in the USA ) to familiarise themselves with the facts before taking part in a discussion increases this need. Simply having an opinion is worth nothing for a usefull discussion. The hostility towards the opinion of experts should not lead to the attempt to suppress their information. Especially with a topic like Covid-19, you need reliable sources, otherwise people will build up a Fantasy, were the issue are ignored. This was quite obvious in the UK, where in the beginning some hoped for herd immunity. News doesn't replace thinking, but facts are important and I can only hope that links are not suppressed here.

To prevent the linking of News/messages in a political forum, is the stupidest suggestion I have ever heard. It will only lead to even more people copying and pasting a ton of text here. It's strange how some people feel disturbed by messages that force them to leave their news bubble. Something that I think has really taken over is memes. Perhaps this should be limited to a separate thread. News, however, is the basis of all political discussion.

It seems that the European project on contact tracing is slowly falling apart. More and more scientists are leaving the project because they fear that the data could be used for other purposes beside covid-19, due to a disappearance of decentralised processing from the concept. So now all that is left is Google and Apple. Let's hope that these companies stick to their concept and that their app offers verifiable data security. As I said, I will still share my opinion here although I am not currently paying for RLC. BTW, The fact that RLC is currently not worth any money does not mean that this was the case all the time. I think it is a pity that RLC didn't even try to improve the loss of all the Russian apartments.

If there was one moment that convinced me of the realism of the GOV apartments, it was the masturbation shows on the dining table. All very common and convincing. Anyway, I don't think you will be happy to hear this, but GOV needs more visitors (also guys) in general.
