    Ehhh, 40C is 104F, right? The max temp they recommend for my hot tub. Hardly burn-worthy, unless you simmer in it like a stew for hours. Then you might be a little tender.

    You never give up - I admire your tenacity! The cam still needs a few tweaks, as I mentioned above, hopefully they will take it under consideration (a little higher, angled a few degrees down)

    Oh my goodness! I wonder what in the world was wrong with their Crescent wrench that Nina had to pound on it with a hammer to get it to move?? Good lord, it must have not been used for 40 years if it was frozen that much!! Ahhh, too bad I was not available to assist, I have a barn full of tools that I could have helped them with! 🤠 But while watching the replay, I couldn't quite figure out what exactly they were trying to do - swap the old shower head with a new shower head? And why did they need to crawl under the sink? But Kira's precious "help! please help!" was heartbreaking (and adorable). But apparently whatever they were doing, it must have been a successful venture. SO, we can add "plumbing" to the bottomless list of talents they possess! Well done, ladies! Once again, an effective team 😊

    Understood, and indeed there is still a division here in my beloved States; while not entirely politically-based, but are more often religion-based, which unfortunately leads to political repercussions, and it's an unfortunate back-and-forth which will never be resolved. 😑

    Regarding security of our girls - I notice that there are THREE locks on the main door in the 'hallway.' Whenever they go out, it sounds like they are securing Fort Knox (for those of you not in the know, just Google). "Chunk KACHUNK Chunk!" These must be solid, heavy doors to say the least, and steel locks. I can always tell on the timeline when they are arriving home, because we hear the same "Chunk KACHUNK Chunk" of them unlocking the hallway door. (plus a peephole, not seen in previous apts). They also always lock the bottom lock whenever they are home, with color-coded keys. Well done security, girls! Also, after they re-positioned the hall cam, we can see an icon right above the doorway. Does anyone have any idea who the icon is? My guess is Saint Christopher, the patron saint of travelers. Which makes sense, if they are going outdoors, they are "traveling" and Saint Christopher gives them good luck to safely return.

    Correction - IS STILL an excellent chess player. I would be nervous in a match vs Kira. 😵 And I was the champion of my high school chess club LOL.

    I have to disagree with you on this specific instance, Steve. If it is the same one I think you are referring to, back at the Masha/Lex apt, Kira DID snap her toe on the leg of the coffee table - it's clear as day, and she was in obvious pain, needing a doctor visit and a wrapped toe and a limp for a few days. Kira does not "act." Now, back in the bad old days of 'you-know-where' Nina was known to have 'fainting' spells, one famously and dramatically occurring during a quite volatile argument between Nina and Kira and Doe. Of course Kira came to her aid, and eventually had to stand between Nina and Doe when the argument got physical in the hallway. I won't go into it more. But Nina is our actress. Kira is our realist. 😉

    Graceful, like a swan, but so very very muscular - LOOK at the toned definition of her lats and traps and delts! She is in fantastic shape! Despite all the pizza. 😁

    Unfortunately, they have to pretend to be sisters, or just university roommates, whenever someone out of their spectrum visits, such as a new cooker installer, or their landlady inspecting. They are very careful to take down any pictures and any evidence that they are a romantic couple. It is quite disheartening to watch this routine - it shouldn't have to happen. It pisses me off. Come on Vlad, get with the 21st Century! 😡

    No problems, Kid. It's true, due to my schedule, I catch up on replay on the timeline and probably miss some important moments (for which I thank our diligent observers for posting), but rest assured my friend, there is no upset or discontent within those walls. What you are watching is two people who have lived together for many many years (6+ or more?). Comfortable with each other, both always fighting and striving for success in the oppressive world in which they exist. But neither would have it any other way. They are part of an important and massive revolution in Russia, and St. Petersburg is Ground Zero for it. Honestly, I think it is absolutely amazing that we are allowed to actually see a small and hidden part of it. I hope it continues. Our girls are a TEAM, and they couldn't be happier now. So do not fret. They will always succeed. 😊

    Yes, sadly, time for Hairball to hibernate, until they move again. This apartment is not well suited for Hairball's skills - too many steps, small rooms, and a narrow hallway. Quicker and easier for Kira to use the stick vacuum. Also, Hairball's entertainment value for Butch and Sundance went down to zero after Breakfast and Lunch arrived on scene. But something tells me we will see Hairball again in the future. 😉

    I love both, cod is milder, haddock is more flavorful, which is a juxtaposition because cod is thicker for baking and haddock is thinner for frying. Personally I prefer flounder fillets for frying but will substitute haddock if I can catch it. Salmon baked is perfection, but the best for frying in the cast iron by far is CATFISH. I can make a mess of catfish and hushpuppies in less than 30 minutes that will make you lick your brains out. (sorry, Southern term). Uh oh, I might get in trouble by the 'fish police' for posting about seafood again! To keep this post pertinent, our girls love their sushi, which I can't stand. My seafood must be cooked, so bravo to all the brave people who eat it raw.

    I did not see on the timeline what you saw, they had sushi, watched a movie, and lights out. Entirely possible I missed something. However, you have to remember - they've both only had a nice hot bath since Monday, and last night was Wednesday, so they've had two days of funk to build up, and their perfect pouches of pleasure might not be all that appetizing for either. Let them get the hot water turned back on and get a nice long luxurious bath, and THEN we'll see some activity 😉

    A tender love hug from Nina to thank Kira for her work for Papa... Kira: "Could you get Butch off of the table please?" Nina: "Da!" Butch: "Nyet!" Nina: "kəm!!" Butch: "NYYYETTT!!!" SO much more entertaining than anything on late night TV here in Merica LOL 🥰 (despite the fact we just had a hurricane, but my compound was spared, thank the blessings)
