    I'm disappointed no one commented on my knowledge of skating techniques. *sigh* Huge disappoint there is no Olympics this year. BUT this is not the place for such a discussion. To keep it relevant, I wonder if N and/or K know how to ice skate. I bet they both do. You don't grow up Russian and NOT know how to skate! All due respect to my American champions, Russia has some stunningly beautiful and incredibly perfect skaters! I bet Kira could knock you all out of the skating park!

    No need my friend, you always provide interesting perspectives the rest of us had not thought about. Always get on your soapbox! (an American term, if I recall...) However... (and you knew there would be a 'however')... I disagree it is cruel to the birds. I think it is as just as much of a "game" for the BIRDS as it is for the cats. Have you not watched how Breakfast and Lunch dive-bomb the cats, teasing and tormenting them every chance they get? They love driving the cats crazy! And the birds team up, it's like WWE tag team. And yes of course they retreat to the safety of Nina or Kira, wouldn't you? I sure would! (I want Kira in my corner). I don't think there is anything cruel going on here. The birds will always be safe. Everyone will be entertained. I personally just can't stand the TWEEEEEEEEEETS from the birds. My computer speakers nearly explode! I have to mute the volume. FUck, I don't know how they stand it in that small apt. Luckily, I just have to deal with my cats being fascinated with my fish. And it entertains them while I'm away.

    😄 I actually considered this at one point, well done, lets! B&S are permanent indoor cats, and quite large kitties, and in need of exercise. Hairball just wasn't working out for them (so to speak), so what's the next best thing? LIVE TOYS! And it seems to have worked, as B&S are always on the hunt. The birds are pretty darn wily, though, I'll give them that.

    I agree. The one night (morning) N&K go out and forget to put them back in their cage... nothing but feathers when they come home. 😬

    Negative, Ghostrider. Both cats are fully armed, front and back. You can see and HEAR this when they rake the shit out of the scratching post in the "living room" and many other places, back in the good old days. Both Kira and Nina have been scratched quite a few times in the past, requiring quick first-aid (antiseptic & band-aids lol). Besides, N&K are animal lovers, and animal lovers ABHOR the brutal and mutilating act of declawing a cat - they would never even consider it. And you can probably tell I agree with them. However, it is interesting that they were disinterested that Butch got SO CLOSE to having Breakfast, but maybe he remembered a few nights ago when he whapped Kira's face, and how he was CHASTISED (catsized?) by Nina over that. And if you've ever been chastised by Nina once, it's not something you want to experience again, believe me. Hence, Butch let his Breakfast go. He's got a good thing going here, no sense in fucking it up over a stupid bird. 😃

    Looks pretty hot in there now! 😆 The funny thing is, they spent a good amount of time changing the sheets, blanket, and pillowcases, and in a few minutes, it's all destroyed LOL

    I go away for a couple days, and you guys let things go all to hell. Where would they go on "vacation" that requires a flat-screen monitor?? And less than 24 hrs later, they are out the door again (with a little goodbye). And they've been gone for quite some time. 😥 Butch and Sundance are going to lose weight by not being fed regularly! Apparently they've eased the coronavirus restrictions in St Pete. At least Sugar Duck is back in bed, patiently waiting, which means they should be home soon.

    On replay, some interesting views of the outside while Nina adjusts cam-4. Hi there, cutie! 😍 The camera adjustment period during the 1400 time period after the landlady visit was a gold mine of close-ups. Here is just a random one I snapped, displaying Nina's absolutely blemish-free flawless skin. I'm amazed Breakfast and Lunch stayed tweet-free during the landlady visit. Or did they? We'll never know, since they went dark from 1230 to 1350. Strange that cats would be allowed, but birds are not? A couple of cams are not adjusted correctly. The hall cam is way off, too far left. Bathroom cam seems normal. Kitchen cam-1 is slightly off, kitchen cam-2 is slightly off, office cams seem slightly off but okay, but as usual, all bedroom cams, especially cam-7, and cam-3 completely suck. Hopefully someone will relay this info to them and they care enough to fix them. 😇

    There was a strange yellow "hue" in all three of the bedroom cams tonight, did anyone else notice? I never noticed it before watching tonight's replay. Did they change light bulbs? 🤔

    No, just a good friend of both, she has visited several times, often at the "you-know-where" apartment with a girlfriend, which is why she is comfortable with Breakfast perching on her head. I have a snap of her with said girlfriend from "you-know-where" but not sure if it would be allowed by mods. Since she is an infrequent visitor, I have not nicknamed her.

    So the bear's name is Obie, or OB. Short for "Old Bear." Obi-bear Kirobi. LOL I'm glad that his surgery - furgery - was successful. It's only been 8 years that they've been together? Why does it feel much longer than that? I wonder how many ducks Nina brought into the relationship, and how did that discussion go? Nina: "So, I have this thing about ducks... " 🦆
