I feel you Zoifan, there are quite a few on my ignore list too. I don’t watch the gay apts, cause it’s not my thing. I have absolutely no problem ignoring them. But, sometimes, I do like to check it out and see what my friends in the threads are talking about. Sometimes I’ll chime in. I’m guessing once the split happens, I’ll be cut off from them to an extent. My biggest worry, is that I’ve been waiting for 4 years for them to house a passable transsexual and I know when they do, they will stick her in the gay site. I won’t subscribe to 2 sites on VH. I won’t pay any more then I’m paying now. I will be very interested to see how they go about bundling these sites for people who are long time premium members. Personally, I think they will have to charge quite a bit less for the gay only apts then VH central. I also, think that the people who subscribe to the gay sites aren’t going to subscribe to VH central too. So, wouldn’t it make more sense to have it all on one site and have those gay veiwers paying the higher subscription rate for VH central, then for them to only be paying the smaller amount for the gay site?

What you’re missing is that Kung forces the atheist ideology to deal with the inevitable progression of atheism which ultimately leads to nihilism. I believe that it does. I understand that you remain unconvinced. That’s fine, but if you actually read the book, you can see that the argument is quite compelling, but you’d have to read the full breath of it to grasp it. The idea that someone can nutshell what Kung argues is naive. You can always deny it, but to say that his argument is a waste of time, is really just a cop out. The argument he makes is that it makes more sense to believe in the existence of God as a natural progression toward reality and purpose then to deny God and end up in a place of meaningless nothingness. No, I’m sorry I can’t show you a picture of God. I don’t pretend to be able to unequivocally prove the existence of God. I fully respect the notion that to believe takes a certain amount of faith. I can understand that you want to deny faith as a reason to commit to a God belief, but if my reality is my choice and my choice is to believe in God then who is anyone to tell me that I’m wrong to live that life that I have chosen. And don’t give me that bs that I was forced into this somehow through upbringing, My family was non-religous and I was non-religious practically my whole life. I didn’t come to my belief system until I was 29 years old. I made the choice to believe.

Cause I’m not God and I’m not required to be perfect in order to advocate for the existence of God. I will be judged for my life choices just like you will be. But, I have absolutely zero interest in arguing with you about my personal religious beliefs. Let’s not go there cause it will only muddy the water. Keep the discussion on topic, does God exist.

Hi Katie, I very much appreciate that. Part of this experience is being able to say what we think has happened, is happening, is going to happen, or what we think should happen. I also don’t want to discourage you or the other tenants from posting here too. I think we can have some balance that everyone can be happy with. I know that I have said some truly terrible things in the past about tenants. I’m not proud of myself for saying those things and knowing that you all are reading those comments does make me carefully choose what I say. I think this is a good lesson for everyone to understand. We must be mindful of the things we say because they are being read by the tenants. Basically, the general idea is that one should not say something that they wouldn’t say directly to the tenants face. I know for some here this is devastating because it does in fact limit what you can responsibly say, but by the same token, the tenants have to accept that people may say something offensive and they will just have to learn to ignore it or find some way not to be offended by it, otherwise, the risk of censoring comments will come into play. I know, i know, I’m over thinking all of this, but this is all new ground for us. For years we had no contact with the tenants at all. This cat is out of the bag and there is no way to put it back. We are linked together whether you like it or not. By the way Katie, you looked stunning yesterday in that sexy outfit! Everything about it was perfect! ❤️💋

Agreed, but now who if the gatekeeper of that differentiation? It's Katie! Should a cc member be compelled to run their comments past Katie before posting to avoid overstepping this boundary and risk being shamed by the cc community? It's not always so black and white and since we aren't them, how can we know if anything we say is distressing. I know what you mean and I think most people don't write truly nasty things about the tenants. We all know that our comments are being read by the tenants so most everyone treads softly anyways. I think I'm just trying to make a larger point about this. Who knows what cc members may join and perhaps not have such a nice demeanor as yourself?

No, you don't. Not have that right anymore. That's exactly what Katie's post said to us. That if we say something critical about them, such as expressing the idea that Katie should find another guy, this is not permitted, least you be shamed for distressing a tenant. You will suffer the wrath of the other cc members who will remind you what a horrible person you are for hurting a tenant's feelings.

Ok, I know that I'm going to killed for this, but here it goes. Katie, I like you guys very much, but you can't come in here and dictate rules to us without consequence. Like a lot of people have pointed out, we can't understand what you are saying because of the language barrier, and as such it leaves us in the position to speculate, spread rumors, be opinionated, or quite frankly poke fun even at your expense . Plus, you must know that we see your life differently then you see your own life. We can see when someone does something behind your back, for example. By setting rules, you are in effect telling everyone that no one can say anything even remotely negative or speculative about you guys. Seriously, that's the effect of this. From this point onward no one will dare say anything that may even remotely sound critical least they be called out on it for being mean. As I speak people are searching for the member who made the negative comment about Phil, perhaps to burn them at the stake for being so callous. No one wants to be shamed, so from now on, you'll only get lots and lots of well wishes and plenty of sugar coated hugs and kisses and hearts, but the result of this will be that those negative and critical comments will only get pushed into the shadows, into the underground, via PMs or just never see the light of day at all. We have effectively been neutered by your filter. The commentary here has been censored by you. We can no longer freely express ourselves. The pink elephant in the CC room right now is this new phenomenon of tenants interacting with CC members. I myself am by the far the most guilty of this. In numerous ways I have inserted myself into the lives of the tenants. I have relished my appearances in the apartments among other things. We are treading into new waters everyday in this regard. Now, that it has become apparent that this connection can, and has, had distressing consequences for the tenants, I think it may be time for this to come to a head. Perhaps Nack is right, perhaps this interaction must cease entirely. Given that the tenants have free access to CC, that cat is out of the bag. So, what is the answer to this growing dilemma? Is there a viable balance? I ask you all...

Answer me this, if that’s the case, how come Linda never even came close to doing anything over a Tim’s place for over a month.
