I'm sure many people noticed it but they didn't talk about it because Grant is irrelevant. It's all about Lisa. 

If you watched what happened carefully, you would have seen that Lisa was the one who was playing Grant. Like if she wanted him to accept the situation.

She's doing this to have better stats. Whether Grant likes it or not i'm sure she doesn't really care.
