I agree with you about that leg. I don't care how well it's "preserved", I'm not eating anything that's been unrefrigerated for six months. And how appetizing is the hoof sticking out? They have it covered with a towel. Would you like to dry your hands with that? I think I'll go have lunch now. Or...

The leg of meat is a form of proscuitto. Like jerky made with a whole cut of meat. You slice off what you want. It is very common in Spain and Italy. Just keep the bugs off and you are fine.

La pierna de la carne es una forma de prosciutto. Como cecina elaborada con toda una corte de carne. Cortar lo que quiere comer. Es muy común en España e Italia. Sólo mantener los insectos fuera y que estés bien.
