In 2018 and 2019 CNN and MSNBC were promoting Michael Avenatti  as a 2020 presidential candidate. During those two years he appeared on CNN 121 times and he was a guest of MSNBC 108 times. CNN and MSNBCs'  big hero and savior for the country Michael Avenatti  has been sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison for extortion.:biggrin:

It's just a matter of time the Orange Mussolini will be joining him.

I want to make something clear here-there are horriffic acts of gun violence daily nationwide. In Houston alone, in the past week I have read stories about a grandma being shot at an ATM, a mass ...

While this is sad that a young man died, Texas is not the worst state-according to the latest statistics available

While gun violence is a uniquely American problem, the specific impact varies widely from state to state.

Footage of New Yorkers struggling to wade through filthy, waist-deep water at a Manhattan subway station as heavy rainfall engulfed the city's aging and long-neglected infrastructure on Thursday added fuel...

So Alternet makes it more about climate change then the fact that infrastructure was neglected.  And here is a list of mayors  since 1974--of those 47 years, Democrats were in power 27 years, however Bloomberg's party affiliation only serves his interests

Before 2001  Bloomberg had been a Democrat. Between 2001 and 2007, he had been a Republican. Between 2007 and 2018, he had been an Independent, since 2018 he has been a Democrat once again!) https://politic-ed.com/2020/02/17/michael-bloomberg-running-democrat

So basically, Democrats were in power 39 years, Republicans only 8 years in a city dominated by Democratic party

The city government of New York City controls a budget of about $78.3 billion a year, as of 2016. Officials receive municipal funding for their campaigns, and are elected for a maximum of two terms. City government is dominated by the Democratic Party, which also normally attracts majority support within the city in State, Congressional, and Presidential elections. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Politics_of_New_York_City

So in conclusion, the Democrats failed to make sure the infrastructure was updated, fixed, and not neglected.
