The IR emitters in the cameras go off when the power is out.. That's why you can't see in any of the rooms except where the girls are supplying the light...

I'm curious to see what they're going to do until getting to sleep if their phones run out of battery

Sooner or later the batteries running the flashlights will go out. 

They'll panic when the battery on the phones get low enough. They're lost without them.

yep when it happens to me I usually finally decide to get in bed and then it comes on and some of the lights etc come on and electrical items spring into life
