I wonder why the comments here only consist of swear words and the usual regulars' table conversations. Somehow it's not about the topic at all, but only about a very long-winded discussion between two forum members at a very low level - too bad.🤦‍♂️

Since you are so brilliant lets hear your comments on Ukraine to raise the level of the discussion in this forum.

So why didn't they send them to Ukraine two months ago?  It may be too late now.

2 months ago diplomacy was booming with Germany as mediator. Arms deliveries to Ukraine would have been poison for mediation - and Germany does not deliver weapons to crisis areas as a matter of principle. And nobody expected that Putin would actually dare to attack. “Everyone” saw the troop deployment as a threatening gesture to get Biden and the West around the table to negotiate Russian security interests.

After Putin's brazen lies and his attack, the cards were reshuffled. It's not too late . Putin would certainly not have been deterred by the missiles. These are easy-to-use effective rockets that anyone can quickly learn how to use. A more complex system would require special staff from Germany.

The Biden U.S. State Dept. was warning that Putin was going to invade Ukraine for several months before the invasion. Who are the brain dead officials who believed Putin in the first place? They believed a ruthless dictator who had a history of killing and jailing his political opponents and a man who was a high ranking KGB agent working with the East German Stasi? What kind of naive gullible fools do you have running Europe?

When Biden greatly reduced our production of oil and natural gas he helped to fund Putin's military. When Trump left office the U.S. was energy independent and exported oil and natural gas and the price of oil was $47/barrel. The price of oil is presently over $100/barrel.   Russia's primary source of income is from the sale of oil and natural gas.

So we can't do anything in Ukraine for fear of nuclear war, right?  If Putin is successful in crushing Ukraine and decides to invade the NATO nation of Estonia or Latvia are we not going to do anything there either for fear of starting a nuclear war? At what point do we stop Putin's aggression?

That is the million dollar question

No, we Americans do not like war, but we do like freedom and we are willing to fight to keep it.
