The sofa bed is lower than the normal bed in the principal room. So they are sure that even if Eva gets off the sofa bed she won't get seriously hurt.

Paul sleeps better in a cooler room because of it, and this is cooler than Leora's room right now. She mentioned the temps will go down soon so they will then go into the other bedroom. Same as why Leora herself has done this recently. 1 5 4
