The problem is that we don't understand what they say so it's impossible to justify the reactions. And then yes, I don't think this is a story like Taylor and Kristy but I think this is a story that serves both of them. Sara is a different woman after Karma's arrival but the arrival of "the tick" has blocked this transformation of her.
