StnCld316 Posted February 4 Posted February 4 New feature added to the new forum software version 5 is the signing in process to the forum. Instead of signing in with a Username and Password all that will be needed now is signing in using an e-Mail address your account was registered with. The username will still be the same on the forum, just the signing in will be different. If a new member makes an account they'll register with a username and password, once registered they'll use their e-Mail they've registered that account with moving forward. It's with utmost importance that all current members, go to your user account settings and copy your e-Mail address that your account was registered with as this will be very important to get access to your account once the new forum software version 5 is installed. If not then one will wind up having to make a new account if they can't remember what e-Mail they've registered with and I can't do anything to make changes unless I am provided with the registered e-Mail to verify that I am conversing with the right person. 1 Quote

Okay chairs, I have no idea what I'm meant to do though...never heard of that site you posted and couldn't do anything with my registered email address unless I have to wait. Have I ran before walking? Quote

Have I ran before walking? The image that's posted that's the software developers website there is no link it's just an image. Once the software is installed it will show CamCaps.net and not Invision Community. Just wait till the software's installed then you'll be able to sign in with your registered e-Mail. I'll put a notice up a couple days before the installation will take place to let members know what will be taking place. The same thing will apply to xCamFan.com as well. 1 1 Quote

StnCld316 Posted Thursday at 09:50 PM Author Posted Thursday at 09:50 PM An improvement has been made to the Ignore List. When a user is placed on ignore, place checkmarks in all the boxes and their content cannot be seen. That includes their original post and as well as any quotes they have made too other posters. Whoever has placed a user on ignore will not see anything the ignored member posts unless they change the functions within the ignore settings for that user. So it's best if someone irritates you then ignore them and their gone from your sight. 1 Quote
