We definitely need to step back 30 years mechanically and make things that work and are affordable. Paying $4000 for a washer and $100,000 for an automobile just isn't reality for 90% of people. I just keep repairing my 20 year old stuff when and if it breaks.

I even welded patch panels on my lawnmower where the deck was starting to rust. Paying $500 for a simple push mower is crazy!

It takes 15 seconds to load the site and then 20 seconds when you click a forum, then 30 seconds to load the thread you select within that forum. God only knows how long it will take to load this

This is hopeless ...try to open CC and the usual delay happens ...RELENTLESS. This is worse than when the hacker was busy trying to crash the site 2 years ago.
