Normally, Neytiri is the one being wanted and she keeps the girl or guy at arms length most of the time. It seems as if she wants Kaya and is being held back. That's the first time that I've seen it where she doesn't seem to be in full control.

Something that I was always aware of is that women used to seem to find a thousand things to distract them from giving up the goods. That is not the case nowadays. Instead, they just use their phones to ignore whoever they are with. I watched Kaya tonight as Neytiri tried to have a conversation and  Kaya would lock onto her phone for minutes at a time as if nothing that Neytiri had to say was as important as the least important thing on her phone.

It's not just Kaya. I've watched as other girls have done that even with girls that they really seemed to be friends with.
