Whenever you want to know why the trolls aren't banned, just look beneath their avatar and you'll see the 2 words, "Premium Member". The mods are highly discouraged from banning any Premium Member no matter how much of an ass he/she is. They can be sat in the corner for a brief time, but are almost never totally banned.

As noted, the IGNORE function can serve you very well if you use it and stick by it.

I'm aware of your first point mentioned and secondly, I personally fully intend on using the 'ignore' option even whilst the trolls may choose to perhaps continue to embarrass themselves even further in the future. The problem I have with the ignore option is the ignored person's comments can be seen in full on the main page and are only hidden within the forums. This essentially makes the ignore option about as useful as putting a plaster/band aid on a broken leg and the action of ignoring itself is more-so from the user and not the ignore option. There simply needs to be a block button so members cannot see one another ...a bit like when a forum gets closed like the L&T forum and nobody can see it whatsoever. Temptations and urges are sometimes unavoidable unfortunately.

I think you mix up a troll with the fish that take the bait. A good troll bates his hooks with semely inocente post, or just use wording, even accidental false fact they could say Sorry for if caught or call it harmless banter, knowing some fish will bate and go bezerk.

Once the topic is reopened, any more troublemaking will lead to the offenders being sidelined for a long time. It’s best to stay focused on the topic and keep personal feelings out of it. As for Linda and Tibor, if they can’t handle what’s been posted, whether good or bad, they should step away from RLC and consider starting a different life outside of that scene.
