What were they getting in to?

They knew the cam's were there and people would be watching them

But did they know that people on CC were going to call them all sorts of vile names and verbally degrade them on the internet?Where was that in their contract with RLC?

Have you seen their contract with RLC?  I haven't, so I can't answer your question.  I don't think YOU can answer it either.

But I think one mistake you shouldn't make is projecting YOUR sensibilities and feelings on them.  I mean, really...what makes you think THEY give a rat's ass what anyone on this forum thinks or says about them?  Have they spoken to you?  Do you have a pipeline to them than nobody else has?  If not, then for all we know they don't give a shit about what you, or I, or anyone else thinks...they are getting their's.

Look...you sound like a caring person and it bothers you when people say things that you think are mean.  But be aware that's YOU...not anyone else.  And, as far as anyone knows...that's not the tenants in the apartments, either.

I remember CC members saying that when girls were going out to the clubs late at night that they were  going out to work as call girls.And that was stated as fact on CC. I hardly think any of these tenants would have the balls or the stupidity to enter into a defamation suit...and if they did, they would lose.

Let's face it, the people are barely more than fictional characters.  Pretty much all of them have been since Elena and Artur came on board.  How can one defame a work of fiction?

If you straight out on the internet state that someone is a prostitute and that person is not a prostitute you can be sued.And they will win in court and you will pay big time.All the woman needs to do is show CC records to prove her case.

Saying something that is untrue about a person won't guarantee that they will win a defamation of character suit against you.  There is much more to it than that...at least in US courts.

Defamation of character occurs when someone makes a false statement about you that causes you some type of harm. The statement must be published (meaning some third party must have heard it), false, and it must result in harm, usually to the reputation.

Now tell me...do you REALLY think calling a person a prostitute can harm their reputation when that person has already exposed their whole life to the world on 24/7 cameras...and they've gotten paid to do so?

Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if their actions caused a court to identify them as prostitutes...I mean, they are having sex...on camera...for money.  At the very least, they would be considered porn stars.  What kind of reputation does a porn star have?

I don't agree with the name calling of the girls, or guys for that matter.

However, which court will you be attending if you are sued? Which country? Maybe the Hague (world court!).

Maybe they could extradite me from Australia? To where? The country where the tenants are? The headquarters location of RLC?

If an untrue comment posted on CC causes a girl to lose a modeling job or not get a modeling job would you consider that suffering damage?Or what if such a comment causes their fiancée or boyfriend to dump to dump her would you consider that suffering damage?

Won't happen. Once it becomes public knowledge it will be shut down immediately. The US, especially the south, is not ready for that. If anything ever happens in the US, it would be from the western US. Too many Holy rollers. Hell the ad will not survive the day.

I would like to see a reallifecam house in america,but i am afraid horseshoejerry is right.the censorship laws and the church's would probably keep it in court and have it shut down before it got started or shortly there after.

All of the above comments and conversation about a person posting negative, ugly, derogatory, or untrue statements about someone else where there is a possibility that the person being talked about can read those posts and NOT BE AFFECTED by them is for the most part not correct.  How many of you have read teens and young adults committing suicide because cyber bullying????  That is exactly what we are dealing with here!!
