As long as the crappie has a big plate of clams on the half shell with a ring of shrimp. Man, y'all making me hungry. Mmmmmm. Hot, fresh yeast rolls.  :drool:

O M G! Steamers??? I still remember what those tasted like the very first time I had some in the NCO club at Dover AFB with my dad and his new wife. That was north of 55 years ago. lol

They brought drawn butter with a bit of horseradish in it to dip the clams in. For a young Texas kid, that was extremely exotic food and I dug in like tomorrow wasn't coming. My step-mom ordered a single dozen at first. By the time I was done, I'm pretty sure we passed through an additional 2 dozen.

I haven't had any of those in SOOoooooo long.  :'(
