Linked
They were quick to fix my knees from being bounced around in my gun turret, but they have taken 3 years for my hearing. they told me once that my hearing loss is because I didn't wear ear plugs while hunting on personal time. it had nothing to do with me shooting my maduece or my 240b while not being able to wear plugs in the gun turret. I think they might be on to something since my 30-06 is so much louder than a .50cal machinegun shooting hundreds of rounds at a time. My thoughts on the subject. you can't be the head of the VA unless you are a Vet yourself. Either that or take congress's benefits and give them to vets and make congress use the VA system. I bet shit gets fixed quick then.
Foamy T. Squirrel
Thank you for your service, Linked, and to those of you who have served your nation. Unfortunately, it appears that by some level of unconstitutional corruption, our elected offices always exempt themselves from the oppressive legislation they pass. And no, Obama and his family are not on the ACA Bronze plan...

Lack of funds is bad enough, but I can't understand the how the idiots that are supposed to process claims can sleep at night the way some Vets are treated. I am still arguing a claim with DVA over an injury related to my neck, which has caused severe nerve damage. I didn't have it when I went in and Army certainly treated me since I received the injury. I started as Infantry, but had to change corps to follow a more specialist role. DVA are now telling me that the type of injury I have is not something that occurs in my corp, "You don't get that type of injury carrying out your current duties". WTF? They actually have a list of injuries which are allocated to specific corps. When I disputed their logic, they finally processed my claim. Their process wasn't to accept my previous Infantry service, during which time the injury occurred. They decided to align my injury to the closest neck injury allocated to my current corp. As my symptoms don't match the injury, the claim was rejected. I now have to counter claim. DVA have given me a case officer to assist me, they say they want to help as much as possible. The case officer is a qualified social worker with no military experience. Had she not been quite attractive, I would have pissed her off on the first day. Foamy T. Squirrel
This ought to piss off US citizens, since it's clearly unconstitutional, in several ways. But it probably won't. >:( http://news.investors.com/ibd-editorials/022715-741324-a-dictator-dynamic-in-obama-bullet-ban.htm
woodworker
Some of you folks are much more knowledgeable about the VA than I am. But from what I have observed here in the US, it's the Democrats that don't seem to give a fuck about the veterans. And they have shown nothing but contempt towards the military now for years, but are all to willing to take credit for certain incidents at times such as the killing of Bin Laden. I have nothing but contempt for this political party for reasons that would fill up this page. But I say, God bless you noble and brave men who have allowed just by virtue of your being there so many others to be able to sleep at night with peace of mind. My government, with the Democrats pulling the strings, always manages to find ways of wasting millions upon millions of dollars, but can't seem to find a direct way of showing their gratitude to those people who have severed in our arm forces. The whole thing stinks, and I will never forgive this betrayal on their part.
TBG 150
It's not just the Dems here Woody. It's all of the bastards. They just funnel the money into helping the illegals and scream that they need more. Like the gasoline tax. It was supposed to be used for infrastructure improvements on the roads, bridges and tunnels. Instead, they took that money and allocated it to creating amnesty for all of the wetbacks. So while the road funds are $1 billion short, imagine that, that's the same amount sent to the amnesty fund. And now these dumbasses want to go retro, bring all of the deported back and give them all $40,000 each, and make them citizens. >:( That's $10,000 per year for the 4 years they've been thinking about ramming this down our throats. The hold up was, there were still too many Americans in this country. Where the fuck will this money come from you ask? I won't even dignify it with an answer. ALL of these government clowns need to be lined up on a wall and sniped for practice.
Ozi
ALL of these government clowns need to be lined up on a wall and sniped for practice. All politicians are much the same here. We have now tightened our anti-terrorist laws. Anyone with dual citizenship caught fighting for a terrorist group MAY have their Australian citizenship revoked. AND, to show them we really mean business, they MAY even lose their welfare payments. Yep, while these arseholes are in the middle east fighting for IS, they are still collecting benefits. woodworker
Nothing but scum! I did notice that only Ted Cruz, on the Republican side had the courage to call Obama after his extremist speech, "Nothing but an apologist for the Islamic radicals." Ozi
I see Benjamin Netanyahu got a bigger arousal on entry to the joint Meeting of Congress than Obama does.
woodworker
Yes, but many of the Democrats didn't bother to attend. And some criticized him harshly afterwards. They're the liberal fuckers that don't have a clue as to the dangers of Iran getting a nuclear bomb, which is exactly what they intend to do.
